Really fun platformer. Comments
Overall a good game, thanks for letting me play this !
The art style and atmosphere of the game is really nice. I like the slowly uncovering of the map through rewinding back in time :)
The only thing I struggled with was the character movement. Even the basic jump (just tapping) is to far for a lot of the level objects and the character stops to slow. But other than that it is an enjoyable game :D
It was a pretty good game. Only thing I’d complaint about, would be that the UI is all over the place. I’m guessing that the different resolutions are the cause of this. But aside from that, I liked it! Congrats on your submission!
The controlling of the player was a bit problematic..Other than that it was great. The art and player animations were nice. The theme implementation was also good. Great job.
love the aesthetics and feel of game just the control issue, everything else is awesome😁
I don't really have many comments/critiques that haven't already been said. Although I will repeat what people have said about the fog of war mechanic: it was really cool and in a game where you die and restart continuously it was a great way for the player to be able to still make progress while dying. Good work!
Played and rated.
So here's what I like and dislike.

What I Didn't Like:
Overall though, great job! The game works perfectly fine and I never ran into any problems other than the movement!
Great game! Love the painting effect and the jumping stretching of the character. Congrats!
Cool game! The player movement feel good.
Just one thing, If you survive for a long time, then the rewind will ber very slow.
I liked your game.
I am looking for a way to fix that. Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks!
It's quite laggy so maybe a downloadable version would have been good. It has a problem that some other games with this mechanic have, that is, the rewinding is quite slow, and mixed with some unforgiving controls (like not being able to change direction while in mid air) it tends to get boring. But anyway it's a nice idea and I see the effort put in the presentation. It has potential
game was a little difficult for me but the art was good. nice work
Thank you for playing!
Nice job!
Thanks!
This art is really, really cool! The fog was a smart and VERY cool implementation. Great job!
Thanks for the feedback!
I really like the way this was done! The art is really cool!
Thanks for playing!
Sweet game! The rewinding was well implemented and the "fog of war" that unveiled itself as you explore the level was brilliant.
Thanks for the feedback!
Great job! Loved the fog effect and lighting. The play on rewind was a good touch too.
Please rate and play my game too: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/723414

good game, I really like platformers. I would suggest to make the player less slippery. but I like the idea of exploring through the darkness.
Slippery-ness is a known issue and should be fixed in the future, Thanks for the feedback!
The idea is cool and original, great game!
I have only 3 suggestions:
1. The platformer controls feel a bit off and I think I found out why - there is no (or almost none) air friction. That means that if you jump and release the left or right key you continue in a perfect parabola. Check a different full fledged platformer and experiment with that - and you will quickly see that is not the case. Because of this it is much harder to land jumps. You jump and let off the right or left key, expecting to fall down, but instead you continue to move and miss the platform.
2. Small thing: why not add other controls and allow people to jump with 'w' or up arrow? It might feel more natural to people.
3. I think you should explain things a bit more at the start. And mainly I think you should not use old style English. In the end it doesn't matter that much but I know I don't like it and I think many people also feel that way.
Thanks for the feedback!
