In what way does your game fit the theme?
The robot is a toy that needs to REWIND when its out of winding or it cant move.
Note :
the jump is a bit weird dont know why but i am working on fixing it and will update the game once the ban is lifted
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes all of the assets and code is made by me(Except for the sound effect at the winning screen its from opengameart.org )

The jump could be better but overall it's a good game :)
Rated!
I like the game environment. Game design is good. But I think you need to improve controls setting. keep it up!
Hi, i've played and rated your game. It's pretty fun to play. For the next time you could use the spacebar for jumping instead of the Up Arrow and have a real jumping and not just teleporting. The jumping was a bit tricky. But still a good game. Well done.
I really like the toy environment. The game design is pretty good too, but the movement mechanics are very inconsistent and frustrating. I would just go head on into every car for the first few minutes until I got the hang of it. With some better graphics and fine tuning, this would be a great game!
I liked the toy setting, the take on the theme and the fact that there is a fast but comprehensive tutorial a lot, but there are some things you could improve. The main issue i have is that the jump doesn't feel natural at all. Since I'm guessing you are using a Rigidbody2D for the toy, one easy way to achieve a jump is to set the velocity.y component of the rigidbody to some value when you jump, and let the physics system takes care of the rest. There are also some walls that sometimes are solid and other times aren't (when you enter those brown boxes with the 2 platforms). And a minor thing, in the level selection screen the layout of the text is sorta of screwed
ok
first: thanks for the feedback
second: the jump does use velocity to add force but i dont know why its so ..weird
third: the 2 blocks are the only non collidable ones and its to help you skip some of the falling blocks part
fourth: the text gets normal when full screen
again thanks for the feedback
Ok, it is weird. Mine is a guess, since i don't know the code and the settings, but maybe it's that the velocity is way to high, so it seems like a teleport, but there is a limit to the max height a single jump can reach, so it stops and start falling
Nice game! The jump could definitely use more work because it's really hard to use and also very inconsistent, but a really neat idea and graphics!
I played it and liked the idea of the toy, however it needs some improvement, like player mouvement
Thanks for the feedback drop a rate too if u havent
I did yesturday, I just refound your game and wanted to give a feedback
Hi, I liked the idea, audio is nice. However, controls are glitchy (as already mentioned) and colliders feel quite inconsistent. Sometimes you don't expect that some platforms are not "physical", that definitely needs improvements. Also you can take any color palette for websites or something and use it for your graphics so it will be more pleasant.
Some platforms are not physical could you give some examples so i could fix it
The game is pretty fun, after you figure out that you need to select the level. The mechanic of losing health to regen your rewind is a nice choice.
I had some difficulties in the beginning, because I walked to far to the right, then the level plopped int, and thus I got stuck. The idea of a robot needing to rewind is cool, and that pared with losing health to rewind is a nice risk-reward mechanic. I liked the game, even though the music was a bit repetitive :)
Ok, I'm not going to lie, the controls were bad, it was really frustrating to play. The jumping mechanics is very weird (some kinda instantaneous position change?), constantly making me fall off ledges and slide off surfaces. An impulse/acceleration/force would make a better jump mechanics. Try looking up tutorials on making 2D platformers for more information. (or use pre-made assets)
The graphics and premise is interesting though, and the winding up feature is also kinda neat. The tetris level was also a creative use of physics bodies.
Still, good effort though, making games (under 7 days) is extremely hard, so a buggy game is to be expected.
thanks for the feedback though the jump is not a position change and i went through a lot of tutorials even had to remake the entire project because i thought the project was bugged. the jump is adding force to the player but i dont know why its teleports
Jumping is a bit weird but otherwise it's solid
Love the game! Great graphics but the movement is a bit wonky. Nice submission!
If the jumping was improved the game would be really fun! Really well done for your first game though!
nice GAME!
Fun game, but the jump could be improved.
Good job :)
nice game just the jump is a little weird
Nice looking game.
i request you to play my game too.

rev: jump need some work and take on the theme was nice
rated:)
Unfortunately wasn't able to finish your game, it was super hard to control the jump. I'd recommend next time using Rigidbody2d.velocity for jump and increase gravity too, the jump then feels more realistic. Also the tutorial should listen for players input so that someone who already played the game could skip it faster. If you want you can text me and I could give you some tips, explain how to do the code behind tutorial. The music was good and mechanics too. For the first game. good job, keep doing and you WILL get better! ;)
you can move to any level from the pause menu
and the jump..... how much gravity do you suppose it should have ??
and i am using velocity for it dont know whats the problem
We use gravity 3 or 2 and Jumpforce 11, but it depends from the size/resolution of your game. And about the jump I suggest you watch Brackeys video on platformer, there should be a working formula for the jump.
the controls are wonky but I loved the mechanics and concept
Please leave a rating if u dont mind
already did :)
