Very fun game, I loved it. you should deffinetly make a mobile version of this, its incredibly fun. I feel like there is room for some more polish (maybe in background and UI design, I dont like full black background) but the mechanics are really solid and it makes quite a fun game.
excellent job, really enjoyable :D
Very interesting concept. Very panic inducing.
Cool game, this type of game would probably be a better fit for mobile but is an interesting take on the theme and is fun to play
Nice game hope my rating helped you :>
Thanks! Every rating counts at this stage :)
Agree
Nice game, interesting take on the theme. The music is nice and fits the graphics. In my opinion the cranks are a little over-reactive and the ball is a little too heavy.
Great idea, though it could've taken better execution. I wish the ball was less heavy so that it can change velocity faster. The mass makes it pretty hard.
It's a really original interpretation of the theme and a interesting concept! The game is fun and pretty hard, just like it should be as a casual game.
You should try to export to mobiles!
Great job! :D
Small thing: the quit button doesnt work.
This was rly fun!
Thanks for playing! Do you mean in the windows version? Or in the browser?
Windows version
Weird... it works for me... Ah, bugs! :)
Really like the idea. Im pretty sure it might feel more awesome on mobile with touch controls, but overall good job!
That's a great concept, but for me it's a little bit too hardcore even on easy level. The hot spot where you should place the mouse cursor is too small and the pacing of the platform is too fast. I think it would be cool to have some kind of difficulty progression. Also maybe you can add a keyboard control. But overall it's a cool game and I can see it as a mobile hit.
Thanks for playing and your critique! I agree, it needs more parameter tuning for difficulty. Keyboard control would definitely help with that as well, and if I work more on this, it's the first thing I'll add.
Nice concept! Very simple but effective. The games seems to be fully finished and without any important bug, and this is great! Congratulations ;) I want just to say that I would prefer to use keys instead of mouse to "Rewind" the pulley. In this way I think it would be more playable, specially when the pulleys are more than 2. Well done!
I can tell this is one of those games that I would obsess over for hours, and never get past "Easy." I don't know if you ever played any "Stardew Valley,' but I had a similar reaction to the fishing mechanic in that game. It took me soooo long to get the hang of it, and it looks like yours would be the same, for me at least. Like other people are saying, key bindings would help, although each one would need a forward and back, so that would be eight keys for the hard one. Hmmm. I don't have a good solution for you. Not all games need a story, but it would help me to stay invested in the game if I knew why this beach ball is there, collecting gems, and avoiding lava. The audio and visual design really work together well, and the game loop is fast (very fast in my case), so there is nothing getting in the way of multiple attempts. Congratulations on finishing your game!
Thanks for checking and commenting!
Well, only bindings for rewinding are needed (the unwinding occurs automatically) so only a maximum of 4 keys would be needed.
The ball collects gems because erm... it needs to buy its ticket out of hell? (I definitely totally didn't come up with that just now :P). Lava is avoided because, well, I see no reason why anyone wouldn't want to avoid lava. Especially if you're a melt-prone plastic beach ball (it being a beach ball definitely totally didn't have anything to do with it being one of the only two round sprites in the free Unity asset pack I used).
I really like this original interpretation of the theme, cool idea!
Unfortunately, I think the game is really quite difficult (on all difficulty settings) due to the speed at which the cranks unwind. Getting the platform from the bottom to the top takes a really long time and it's difficult to do. I also miss-click often, as I have to keep shifting my attention between looking at the ball and looking at my mouse to click the cranks.
I think a good way to solve this problem, would be to bind the activation of the cranks to keys on the keyboard. That way, you can keep your focus on the ball and platforms and you can also rewind all the cranks at once by holding all the buttons at once.
I'd really appreciate it if you would have a look at my game as well, and be sure to download the smaller version :D
Thanks for your feedback! Yeah, didn't have much time to fiddle with parameters to adjust difficulties. Key bindings is the first thing I will do if I work on this any further :P
This is a really fun game that I hope you continue to work on to make a full release!
A really great use of the theme to make an addictive game! It is a game that's easy to get into while also remaining challenging, with additional difficulties when you get complacent. I think some sort of key binding option would help this game become a bit more dynamic, though I also feel this would reduce some of the difficulty! Over all I think you did a great job :)

Nice concept, was fun but super tough to master it, haha... good job!
Pretty proud of my highscore of 6 on easy! On medium the platform broke in half and the ball fell. Also love that the gems usually spawn closer to the lava so it's risky. Nice puzzle and I can see a lot of variants derived from it.
Yeah, the platforms break if you let them strain too much. The gems spawning close to the lava was just a happy accident, I didn't put that in lol. But it's a good idea!
