In what way does your game fit the theme?
Both characters are bound and can't move far from each other. The movement of one affects the other, so they should cooperate back to back in order to slay all the enemies. Also the characters have a reduced line of vision, and should stay close enough to cover their backs.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
We made all code and assets from scratch.
The sound and music is copyright free from freesound

Well polished & fun game, fit the themes well, good job mate, this is the most fun game in this jam I've encountered yet!

The game was very well polished with not a lot of complaints. One main one I had was the controls were a little awkward. I was playing solo so it felt a little cumbersome. Which I know this type of game could be easily done single player, just mechanics tweaked to fit a better control scheme. Also gamepad controls would be nice for single player. And I know stronger together since there was two people on screen, however the game exponentially got easier when there was only one person on screen.  Overall a solid experience!

TY for playing it!! We maybe could have implemented gamepad controls with a bit more time, and I'm sure it would definitely make a difference. And about the theme, yep, maybe we should have made things harder when you are alone. Ty for the feedback!!

Either way, it was still a very well polished experience. The menu system was fantastic and the art was very cohesive!

Nice game man! I really enjoyed and I think we both like zombie killing games, :D. The concept is also good and can play single or double player, which is good for gameplay experience!

Super fun game, honestly one of my favourites so far. Great graphics and the concept is super good. Very strong entry, great work!

this game is really fun, definitely one of my favorites! one suggestion would be maybe if one player dies the other player could use that player's control scheme to aim? (it kinda goes against the theme tho so I guess not)

Developer

Glad you liked It! So interesting suggestion... THX so much for the feedback!

One of the best so far, it looks great as well, also harder than it looks for sure, great work. Cheers!

That was fun! I love the connection idea and trying to play both players in the same time. Cool work codedrifters! :)

The Game is great! I had fun even though I was playing by myself. The art and music is great.

Simple but very thoughtful and fun mechanics. Great art and sounds. A very high quality game, it will be cool to see its further development.

What an amazing game, great job!

A lot of things to praise, with the beautiful art, satysfying sounds, the lighting effects and blood/bullet casing particles when shooting.

Really enjoyed playing it, even though controlling 2 characters at once when moving one can also move/rotate the other is hard to get used to. It's a good choice making shooting automatic.

One possible bug I think I found is that after getting the light upgrade (which I assume is meant to be pernament) then picking up another weapon then when it runs out of ammo the basic weapon seems to be back to default flashlight range.

Developer

Glad you liked it! The light upgrade is meant to end when changing weapons, but that makes it a weak powerup. It's probably a bad design decision on our part... Thanks for the feedback!!

The game looks and plays great.
The music and sounds fit the game.

Wow the game looks very cool! Moving and controls are smooth, and sounds complement it nicely. I played it by myself, will also try to play it with my bf later. Good job!

I had fun playing this game, and now I want to play Blackops 2 zombie again  xD

The sprites were nice, and it was a good surprise to have multiple weapons.  The movement was a bit weird at first because I was alone.  But I successfully reach round 7 whiteout any issue. Nice work :)

It really amazed me the assets are also made by yourselves. The sprites really looks like something you can sell in the asset store, great job.

The game is fun and fits the theme very well.

The game is very polished, unfortunately I I don't have a friend playing with me, controlling two players at same time is really hard I would say.
