Really nice art and animation here. This is a very beautiful game! Nice work.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
Our game uses dice combos which make them stronger when used combined. This evolves during the gameplay when more dice are introduced.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?

Nice! I like this that is one of the games I played the longest :D Very unique.
What a great entry! The art and audio fit the game really well and the design is super interesting.
The difficulty and randomness does make this really frustrating at time, but i still enjoyed it a lot overall.
I would play totally play a game like this (with some difficulty adjustments of course).
Loved the mechanics, very well designed. I didn't got the theme inside, the dices together made the main character stronger?
well, i would really play this game in the future with moe updates and i didn't beat in my first try but i will try harder to get to the 20th floor.
well done
This game is really solid, I think with more work you could even sell it. I enjoyed it a lot, can't complain about anything. Great Job!
Really good game, reminds me of Slay The Spire.
I tried the game twice but couldn't beat the combo healer + armor guy, the fight was taking forever, there is probably not enough dice combination able to beat it. There is potential for more crazy dice / effects i can see this game being expanded !
The art / UI was really pleasing, good job !
This is a great game!
But, the main mechanic of placing the dice in the correct place isn't even a mechanic. More of a way to make my runs slower. You could have ditched that entirely and the game would be the same.
I didn't get to a 5th level dice, but limitations at this point is something that you could always add in a 3 slots for 3 dices..
I allow myself to say that because I played this for almost an hour and really enjoyed it, and I think that you can continue to develop it to a full pledged game.
Also, the healer enemy is quite annoying. Reminds me of those fights in pokemon where the enemy trainer would always heal up, just delaying the outcome.
Overall, the game is awesome! In terms of the theme it didn't click for me, but I see what you aimed for.
Well done!
What a great concept. I love these kind of games. Very well done. Also the Art and sound is great.
Obviously the game needs some balancing. But other than that this is a great game. One of my favorites in the jam.
Would love to play a balanced Version of this.
The visuals and interactions are great! Initially it was a bit confusing what the different dice did (until I realized I can hover them). Would've loved if there was more depth to the choices but this is a jam game after all! You managed a lot in this short period & that is a feat in itself!
Other than that, probably the most engaging game I played so far in this jam. Nicely done, keep it up!
Good turn-based die game. It's really addicting to play. The art and music were also good. Maybe add some more flair to the attacks and add a special random die with special flares and random abilities might make it more fun.
The game reminded me of sega genesis era, it's a pretty unique twist on Turn-based combat system which I adore infinitely. I couldn't finish the game cause my attack power wasn't enough to beat my opponent. In my opinion, i think it has all the chances to be stand alone and successful with some extra story elements and refined mechanics. Good job!
The systems in this game are so simple to get into, literally being based on dice, while also leading to some really deep combos even with the few types I found in the game. Though I gotta say the block seemed a bit powerful, especially with the heavy dice. For a jam game though, it's pretty balanced. Some finer points(very fine the games good):
- When I upgraded a dice I didn't really get feedback on what I got for it. As well I think I clicked a 2 dice and it upgraded a 1 dice cause they all seem to display as 2s? I'm not sure if that is intended, though it didn't seem to change the way it played anyway.
- The visuals and animations behind everything are AWESOME it was there, good, but also not distracting from the main board.
- As I said the the low skill floor and what looks to be pretty high skill ceiling are awesome I'll definitely be coming back to mess around with this game some more when I get the chance. And I'd love to see more ideas in the same vein, cause there's a lot here.
- I guess a small quality of life bit would be allowing faster dice switching on the board, and making the dice descriptions display on board and faster in general.
The last two points are more QoL and nitpicks, the games really awesome and like I said if there's more of this game to play soon I'll be back.
Firstly, what an amazing game! I love the music and sound design. The art is superb and the concept fits with the theme perfectly! I really love the little frog guy and the animations are superb!
However, as a few others have said, the green moth enemy really killed my enjoyment as I couldn't progress due to it healing between 4-7 hit points and my dice could barely hit 9 hit points. I also found the magic dice to be a little confusing but put it together after a few tries in the first floor. You guys should be super proud of yourselves for what you achieved!
