In what way does your game fit the theme?
You must use different characters to become stronger together! They are weak alone, but when cooperative, you can beat the levels!

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yep! All assets created from the beginning of the jam solely by myself! :D

Wow! I have no idea how you managed to make all this, eat and sleep in just a week. This game is great. Congratulations!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for the nice response to my project! (I took out the sleep and replaced it with... game dev xD) Thank you so much for the comment! :D

Awesome game! I totally enjoyed it! And these little mushrooms are adorable:)

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm glad you think they're cute, hehe :D

Wow, best game I played so far, super polished and feels so good to play :)

Developer(+1)

Wow, that's a real surprise to hear, but thank you heaps! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D

The whole game feels polished and well executed.

Sometimes it was slightly akward to cycle through the mushrooms and I managed to get stuck in one level when i entered two doors with the same mushroom.

Developer

Thank you very much for this comment, Zwarn!

I think it was a little awkward too, yep xD Thank you! :D

As usual, really nice game! Lots of polish and content, and I enjoyed playing it :)

Like others said, it wasn't clear that I was able to click on another mushroom (although it says it in the game), and I don't think a tutorial was needed tbh; I feel it's simple enough where you could do without, and it'd feel better imo.

This definitely fits the theme, and the art and music were really great!

The only other piece of feedback I have is that maybe 80% of the games do this exact thing (which is fine), just maybe I would've liked a more creative take on the theme. Saying that, this game executed that idea the best (from what I've played) and I had a lot of fun playing it!

Developer(+1)

Wow, thanks heaps for writing out this lengthy review, N8!

Yep, I definitely picked up on that. Maybe I could have put the notice that you can click the mushrooms in a spot that was easier to see, but ah well, haha!

And yeah, the game is a bit repetitive compared to others! I guess I got carried away with the polishing and the artwork rather than focusing on the gameplay! Thanks again for writing out this comment, it's super helpful for me to grow as a developer! :D

Congrats to your amazing submission!

We had a real blast playing it.  Your game is extremely polished and fun to play. All your core mechanics work perfectly and the graphics were very pleasing to watch. The only thing would be that the otherwise great audio was a bit too loud.

And I mean, a mushroom-based jump and run, how could I say ever no to that?

Developer

Thank you very much for this nice comment!

I'm really glad you enjoyed playing my entry! Thanks for listing those things you liked and also for picking up on the audio volume. I'll be sure to check that for future projects! :D

Reaaaly nice game. Definetly most polished i played so far. Its not the most innovative game, but its well executed. The only thing i would change is to autoswitch the character when you're in the exit. Well Done!

Developer

Thanks heeeaps, F4B1! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, even though, as you said, it's not the most creative, but thank you still! An autoswitch system would've been an awesome idea, too! :D

Absolutely adorable, incredibly well polished, lots of content and a joy to play. Well done, indeed.

Developer

Oh wow, thanks so much, LTGD! It's incredible you've left a response, let alone playing my game! Thank you heaps for the nice words, I really appreciate it! :D

Great job and very clear theme interpretation. Level design felt very good and I really like how much work you put in some details)

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much as always, Frogrammer! Love your replies! :D

This could be the winner, the idea is like a lot of the other games (including mine), but you’ve made nice and unique features. BUT I don’t really see a difficulty curve.

Developer

Oh wow, I doubt that, but thanks heaps for the nice reply! Thanks heaps, and yeah, it doesn't really get too much more difficult xD

Submitted(+1)

This was really enjoyable to play, and I really liked the art and the music. My only complaint is that none of the levels were particularly difficult - I feel like there was a lot of potential to make difficult puzzles. Overall though I think this is a really good game, and I won't be surprised if this ends up in one of the top spots in two weeks' time.

Developer

Thanks so much for the nice words, Nathan! And yeah, you're right, the game did end up being pretty easy. Thanks for picking up on that and suggesting ways I can overcome it - and thank you again for such the nice comment! :D

Dude this was good! amazing job!

Thank you a ton, Whateep! Always love the feedback! :D

Great submission! Simple concept but executed really well!

Developer(+1)

Thanks very much for the nice comment! :D

Nice, it's actually pretty similar to our game with the multiple character controlling. Some feedback would be that the particle effects don't really match the style of the rest of the game, and the gameplay can feel a bit tedious. But overall it's a solid submission for sure. And that intro screen is sweet.

Developer

Thanks very much! I appreciate the feedback and thank you for picking up on the intro sequence! :D

The game is very good. The author has once again shown an exemplary platformer. I liked switching between characters, but I must say that if you touch two finishes at the same time, then you will have one extra mushroom and you will not be able to complete the level. If you want, please rate our game.

Developer

Thanks for the nice comment! Sorry that you came across that bug - it sure was a tricky one to squish! xD

Submitted(+1)

This was really nice! Really fun, great puzzle solving and really good use of the theme!

My only issue is I sometimes got confused when I was switching characters because the indicators aren't always enough to tell which character you're moving. So like Newbie Indie Game Dev said, probably using the mouse instead of the keyboard would make it easier to distinguish.

Awesome game nonetheless!

Developer(+1)

Thanks heaps for the nice feedback! Like I responded to Newbie Indie Game Dev, you can click the characters to control them! Sorry if it wasn't clear enough, and thank you again for playing! :D

Submitted(+1)

Oh I didn't realize, good to know!

Developer

All good! Sorry about that! :D

Submitted(+1)

Very very good one! It feels polished and responsive and the graphics and sounds work great together. Just to point something with space for improvement: when there are many characters to control, cycling between those with keyboard input was a bit tedious, maybe it would be faster with the mouse? Overall, a very fun challenge, really enjoyed it. Congrats!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for writing this out! I'm so glad you enjoyed the game and thank you for your nice comments!

I may not have made it clear enough, but yes, you can click the character you'd like to control! I believe this concept is shown in Level 2! Nevertheless, thank you for pointing it out! :D

Submitted(+1)

Then no complains! Great work!

Developer

Oh wow, thanks heaps! Sorry that it wasn't clear enough initially! :D
