In what way does your game fit the theme?
The fact that you control two mirror-image figures at the same time, which are slowed down by randomly generated obstacles and action fields, makes for perfect chaos.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
The code is completely self-written. The character and its animation are from Mixamo, a handfull of sound FX are from freesound.org, all other assets, music and FXs in the game are entirely self-made.

Fun game, Love the them and art! Maybe adding some killing blocks to chaos side, would make it a little bit harder to just play on the right side, but maybe that would take away from the speed aspect. Anyway great game!
Thank you 👍 Interesting suggestion but - like you said - this would be a pretty different game then.
I haven't danced like that since college...
That was a fun game. I wonder if hand-generated levels would give it more of a puzzle element, though. I feel like I was guaranteed to win, it just might take a little dancing to get there.
Overall, that was a really good level of polish, and the audio was perfect.
Thanks so much for your comment! Hand-generated levels would certainly achieve a more puzzle-like structure but it would have been less chaotic. Yes, you are guaranteed to win - that was actually our goal here. The thing is that you can win with a better time if you keep your eyes on both sides. But I agree, there is a lot to explore from our initial idea. Thanks for your compliment for the audio part - this is always very important for us!
Nice concept, fun dancing! It has a nice feel to it. It's easy to forget about the character on the left side since they can pretty much roam around the whole grid since their obstacles disappear after a while.
This is true. The point is that it slows you down if you do it this way 😉
I liked the concept and found the game pretty fun! I did find myself rarely looking at the left character since his path is only blocked for a few seconds before I could continue towards the goal.
Thank you! We agree, there is stuff to improve for sure. For one week we are super happy with the result though.
Nice puzzle mechanic there. Didn't seem to be any penalty for dance (other than time) which was a pretty funny routine each time I hit it! Good game.
Yeah we didn’t want this to be losable but winnable with better times.
Really fun!!
Cool, thanks!
Really fun! Concept is awesome, had fun completing the game!
Thanks! It was a ton of fun making it too!
Fine little game.
I feel like it lacks a bit of consistency however.
I mean, obstacles are randomly blocking a cell for a few seconds, but it does nothing more. So I ended up just looking at inspector tic part of the screen and force my way until it worked.
If the timer is important, then I feel like the randomness of the obstacles is too... random, especially since the goal can also be blocked randomly haha.
Maybe having a randomly genereted path would be a solution. But I can feel already the time it would take to implement though !
Anyway that some details, as I said, it is a fine little game! Well done.
Thanks so much! This is really valuable feedback!
I really liked the concept, but ultimately found it was a bit short, I completed the game pretty quickly. I think while the dance tiles were kind of funny initially, I ended up just repeatedly walking through them because they made the best path, and then just having to wait through the dance animation, which meant I spent almost as much time watching the dance as I did playing some levels. I think that more content and a wider variety of obstacles or puzzle solving mechanics may extend the life of this game a bit, but the core idea is quite fun.
Wow thanks for your comment! We are definitely thinking of extending this further.
Great idea, I did find my self just playing it as a backwards games, I barely looked at the blue player at all. But it was well made, and a start of a great idea, great stuff, I'd love to hear your thoughts on my entry.
Very interesting way to think about this! Yes, we were thinking of adding more to the left side as well but decided against this in favor of polishing.
This is a really nice idea with great potential and I'd love to see more! My only nit-pick is that you can bruteforce your way without looking at the left side, since the pillars just block you for a few seconds.
Great work overall
Thank you! Yes, this is true. We have a lot of ideas to extend this but our focus was a polished game jam entry so we did not implement them yet.
Neat concept, but didnt feel very chaotic. Sometimes I could just walk straight forward to win, so the random generation could be adjusted. It's got potential to be a really cool puzzle game!
Yeah in those cases it could be fine-tuned some more. We might do an update after the jam.
Wow great game enjoyed it.
Thanks 😊
What a great game! I probably didn't get the best time in each level because I made a point to hit every dance square :)
Hahaha, that’s awesome!
Wow, it was a brilliant game...
But I felt like the chaos part was missing. It would have been a perfect match for the last game jam (Stronger Together)
Round 3 can be quite chaotic. However, that is dependent on the player. That means that you are probably quite good at multi-tasking :-)
ohhh, nice...😂
Amazing Game
Thanks so much!
Very polished game and goofy story, I love this game! Good job!!
Thank you 😎
The little game story was pretty funny! The dance moves had me chuckling too! I like the randomness on the Captain's side and how the block's on Tic's side are a fun interesting spin on time delays lol. Good job!
Thank you 🤓
Great game! I didn't find it chaotic but I think it's clear what did you implement for the chaos. The design and the visuals are great and the dance, well it's a dance, loved it! :D
Actually, the dance moves are the original “YMCA” dance :-)
Great game! well done!
Thanks a bunch!
