In what way does your game fit the theme?
In SplitShip you control a small little character, who can shoot, and move around freely. An enemy will spawn which the player must shoot. However killing an enemy will create more. You will soon feel the chaos as you dodge bullets, pick up health drops and fight waves of enemies, whilst the music pulses and bright explosions fill your screen. Challenge yourself to get a high score and share your results with others!
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I did most of it myself but I had a little help from good old Brackeys tutorials and some royalty free sounds.

i like the graphic and music and the health bar thing to not die in first touch but can be a bigger arena for fighing or another gun shooting theme after time pass...good game
I had big plans to add upgrades, bombs etc, I just didn't have the time. But after the jam, I really want to polish, and add more features to keep the gameplay feeling fresh over time. Thanks for playing!!๐๐๐๐๐๐
The game was great the polishing too and the music was just wonderful only thing is the playable area is a tad bit small all and all good fun game
I did notice that the game window was a little small. Hopefully it doesn't make a huge difference!๐
It might be the html file. I had big troubles getting it working, but to be honest I'm not sure.๐ค๐ง

Very good for a first submission. The graphics especially are very nice. I very much liked how smooth the movement felt and the small trails. Full marks on that.
I had some trouble with the mouse controls using the trackpad, as I couldn't shoot while moving. I'm not sure if that was the result you wished for or just a result of the trackpad mucking the controls.
I also encountered a weird bug where I escaped the game window somehow, although none of the enemies could follow me. I tried returning in game, as well as shooting from outside, but nothing seemed to work.
A suggestion would be to put a way to regulate the volume as the music was nice enough but a bit loud.

Thanks so much!! I'm not sure about the issues with the tracked. I just used a mouse to play. In terms of the game moving you might be in the pause menu?? I will probably have to polish up the game after the jam voting period.๐ ๐๐๐
Suddenly appearing bugs are a menace, I know. Just for this gamejam I shouted and rebuild my game for more than 1h trying to find a bug that appeared only in the build and not in the editor. (I had to build it in x86 instead of the normal build, in case you ever encounter a similar problem)
My problem was that it would just never finish loading. I had to put it into developer mode. No idea what it means but it worked! It is definitely not perfect but I will give it some polish later on.๐
it need normally 200 Seconds on my PC, but there ร need for a normal Windows Game 30 Seconds, so you need to wait a time...

Great interpretation of the theme. Really great stuff. one improvement, you could add a particle effect when the you shoot an enemy. Apart from that, it looked beautiful, played solid, and captured the theme perfectly.
Yeah, I was trying to make the game chaotic, yet not too hard. A tricky mix.๐
Great work for your first game. The gameplay is silky smooth. I love the risk reward of going in for heals whilst being chased by a horde of blobs. Sound and visuals are lovely.
A suggestion for games like this is to create a mechanic that breaks up the flow of the game, for example a combo meter that when charged can be used to clear the screen. Or power ups that allows me to fire full auto for a short period. That way the core game loop can stay refreshing.

I did give that a go. You might find that when a large enemy spawns they also kill the normal enemies, a well as you. Maybe I should make that more obvious.๐
I know it is lame, but I must give you 5 stars in all the aspects. This is so elaborated game, but as Zbakvinster, my colleague (who immediatelly sent me this game to play, because he liked it really much :D ) already said - this game is like an intro to "build your own carpal tunnel" xD. Nice work, really. Music sounds good, graphics is good (effects especially), you have a lot of potential in your age :-) I hope you will get your dream job in game dev. (don't pay attention yo bold style, its bugged)
I would like to begin with something positive, and there is a lot of positive things, but by all the gods... my finger hurts so much. I would recommend to add auto attack.
Beside my finger, I enjoyed this game. The learning curve is brilliant. Graphics, sounds and effects are awesome. The theme? Wait for a few seconds and you will see that chaos :D
But still, I miss some huge VFX and SFX when player dies :/
I tried to add all the effects I could. My productivity stopped mid way, when the prefab folder got corrupted. I like to think that I would be able to improve it a bit more.

That's very simplistic and good game design. I can tell only problem was shooting feedback. It could be better if I could get feedback when I hit the enemies. Good job it was fun.

I cant believe you're only 13, Nice job! Personally I think the game gets chaotic a little **too** fast. It goes from 1 enemy to 40 in a few seconds ahaha, Maybe the bullets should be stronger? I doubt you'll keep working on it but well done.
I did find that. I think I might polish it up a bit after the jam has ended, but once you get the hang of it, it gets a little easier. I tried to add some upgrades but didn't have the time.๐
