This game was really cool. I absolutely loved the graphics and art style. Personally, it was a little laggy on my end, but that might just be my computer. Overall, I thought it was great. Please rate my game as it still needs many ratings to qualify.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
This is an runner-hell game (runner & bullet hell). Objective is to go to the end of the level avoiding everyone wanting to kill you and destroying the city.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I did code, logic and graphics myself. All the audio is from https://freesound.org/.

Thank you for feedback !
Do not worry it's not your computer ! It was original a Unity standalone build (.exe) but I knew a lot of people wouldn't even play my game if it wasn't playable on browser, so I turned it into a WebGL version but it's obviously less powerful. I used too much graphical effect for a classic browser c:
Really loved the graphics here, very nice pixel art. For some reason on my end, the game was a bit laggy so I couldn't truly appreciate it but I really enjoyed this idea of things becoming more chaotic as you run.
I played it once, died, and then on my second try became an immortal speed demon, who could not die, and my score hit -10000 but still I ran, spamming the living hell out of the space bar and accelerating into a new dimension. The darkness had nothing on me - it would fill the screen, and then get cast back to the left again. And then I hit a wall, and just beyond that wall was Minecraft Steve standing there with a Minecraft cake, and all the monsters that had been chasing me got stuck just behind me, so I could not continue, but I could not die. An eternal purgatory.
On a real note though, very buggy if you spam the space key (everything said above, whilst mentioned in a dramatic way, did actually happen, even the Minecraft Steve bit (why is he there??)). It was fun, and the graphics were nice, it just needs some problems fixed I think :D
I really liked the visuals of the game, the sprite work is really nice! I don't know if the music fits the mood too well. Gameplay is fun and the enemies are very diverse, yet work together in an interesting way. The jump feels a little too quick and heavy, but the level design keeps it from becoming too much of a problem. I think you should add a power up or mechanic that speeds the player up a bit if they start falling behind.
Wow, the visuals here are really great. This felt really fun to play, with the ever growing mob and all the different destruction animations.
It would probably benefit from a few additional sound effects, say for when you break things, and angry noises from the crowd. I'd also recommend tweaking the jump physics a bit. You go up really high but the travel time is really short, which kind of makes it feel like the floor is magnetised! If you want to keep the jump height the same, I'd recommend increasing the air time just to improve the feel a bit.
Overall you did a great job, especially for your first jam. Keep it up!
Great game. The art was fantastic! Crazy that this was your first jam game. Good job.
Good art, the story was fun. It was a tad laggy on the web browser, but I don't think that is your fault. Good job. :)
The art is beautiful! Great concept, very fun game :D Objects that could be destroyed should have some outline though.
The artstyle is really good! I liked the angry mob growing every time I broke something, very clever.
It could be interesting to see more difference in the effects of the people chasing me, so each would hinder the player progress in a unique way.
But real good entry for your first jam!
I really liked the pixel art of the game, Very interesting game. Most
at the beginning of the game phase if you die twice in a row, the transition crashes and there is no way for you to play and it is fireball from the skies. And it's also impossible not to pass without breaking because the jump is very weak, it would be interesting to also put a different color or with more contrast on the objects that can be broken.
I loved the idea of all of the townspeople chasing after you with the crowd getting bigger and bigger.
It did feel like it was hard to get ahead again if you lost any distance. I also came across an area that the character couldn't jump over so I was stuck there. It also seemed to break the collision with the crowd so the crowd touching me wasn't ending the game.
This is a super solid first entry. Keep it up.
Great game! This is very impressive and was fun to play, great job on this :)
Awesome game! I definetly like the idea and it also fits the theme very well :D
Interestingly I got a score of -7000 in the end XD
And once the wall was to high to jump on so I got stuck.
But I really liked it :)
Definitely a lot of detail, and I really liked the art! I was not expecting things to take such a turn for the worse - I was expecting a chill adventure game but things quickly turned south when I made some trouble. Great job!
I didn't see that this game was like an endless runner until everything actually started chasing me. Everything really did fit the theme and got chaotic, I laughed at the random Master Chief in a ghost! I started to get bored after a while and out of curiosity let the chaos kill me. A change to the environment every once in a while might've helped, but overall well done for only 1 week.
That is A LOT of detail and effort you have put into this game! It is a little bit too fast-paced for me... I can't beat it. But it certainly fits the theme because there's so many things going on haha
The lore is very funny also. I liked it!
