Hello fellow Godot user, this game is cool, but I could barely get past the first enemies because it was hard to aim. The controls were tight, but I found it hard to use the mouse with it. Maybe it's just me. Also the art is great!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! :D

This game is really pretty! I found a way to just rush through it without having to fight anyone, but that got harder and harder the further I got haha. Great job :)

Woud love to hear what you think of our game :D

Developer

True! I didn't think on a way of playing the game like that, but i should've xD Thanks for playing! :D

I will check yours c:

That was a remarkably solid game, really well made. I am curious how you developed a way for the enemies to jump and find the platforms. Would you send out some circle limited to their jump range  that would detect other platform transforms?
Great stuff, I would love to hear what you think of my entry.

Developer

I'm so happy that you liked it! :D

If you're interesting on the way I did the jump for the enemies, it was with a physics formula from Projectile Motion, that generates a graphic which you just need to tweak the values to make them jump the exact distance and altitude that you want! Sorry if this was borring haha

I'll definitively check your game now :)

Very nice game. And the art is beautiful. Great job there!

The art was really well done! Nice music as well. Sometimes it wouldnt jump when I hit space, but I had similar issues in my game haha.

Developer

Sometimes it wouldn't jump, and sometimes he jumped when he was not supposed to jump... ups haha I need to work on the movement feel and polish before I start actually making the game next time, Thanks for the feedback :DD

I'm going to test yours now! :))

wow this game was truly unique in every way and really challenging i really like it well done!

Developer

Thanks a lot man :D

The artstyle of this game is so great, we loved it! As other people mentioned it was quite hard, but since deaths did not harm you in any way it was quite fair. The only thing that really put us of a bit was the jumping, but that is not a huge problem once you get used to it. Overall a great submission

Developer

Yeah, you're totally right, when I was testing the game I didn't find that weird but that was because I already got used to it. But it was indeed a really weird jump haha next time i'll try to make it less floaty and add Cayote jump :D Thanks for the feedback!

Really nice game! It feels responsive, it is very clear where the bullets are, it feels juicy to shoot and kill enemies. The artstyle is also right up my alley, I think it is beautiful! Great job!

But I would also like to give some critical feedback, because I believe that is more helpful :) Have you every heard of 'Cayote time' in games? The platformer Celeste is a good example where that was used very well. It basically means that you allow the player to jump, even if they in reality already walked off a platform. In your games it sometimes felt like I should have been able to jump, but instead I just walked off the platform. I think it would feel better if there is a small buffer there :)

Another point is that the first level is extremely hard. Maybe the hardest of all levels because of those small enemies. At some point I got so frustrated that I just rushed past all the enemies to the end. The other levels I enjoyed a lot more, and I was really happy to see there was a conclusion with a boss battle!

Criticism aside I truely enjoyed your game! It felt really good to play, and I think that is very important. Definitely one of the best games in the jam I played so far :D

Developer

Yes, i did heard about Cayote time as Celeste is my favourite game! :D But I didn't implement it because I thought "Welp, it's not that of a big feuture" but ohhh boyy... was I wrong! Coyote time makes a HUGE different and it's not that hard to implement, I need to keep that in mind next time i'll do a platformer, beucause I should've make the movement the top priority of this game!

Regarding the first level I totally forgot to put Checkpoints since it was one of the last things I implemented! And if I placed some of them in the first level I think it would be easier and fairer, it was tottaly my bad!

Thanks a lot for your kind feedback, all the critics help me a buch be a better developer! :D

Nice Game. but really hard. I wanted to finish a level that I ran through the 1st level without shooting to finish it.

Developer

Some people did that too! I should've made the first level easier since... it's the first one! haha Thank you for the feedback :D

I loved the Game. The Art Style is awesome, the AI is done really well, and it fits the theme quite well.   It is insanely hard, though and I couldn't get to far in the game.

I think you could still manage to make it chaotic, but easier if you removed the gaps in the ground and if  the enemies were killed on one shot.

Please rate my game.

Developer

Exactly! I wanted to make it chaotic, but it came out as hard and unfair at times, but i'm glad you enjoyed what you played of my game :D

Of course! I rate the game of everyone that rates mine c:

This is super polished well done! Maybe adding coyote jump would be a good idea, falling off the edge while trying to jump is so frustrating. Great job, well done!

Developer

I agree, cayote jump would make it way more responsive! Thank you for the feedback cc:
