In what way does your game fit the theme?
The number of monsters keep on increasing over time as it becomes impossible to keep the situation under control.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All code was written by me. Almost all assets were downloaded from asset store and some from sketchfab.

I felt like I got pranked my the title screen because it took me 5 minutes to find the play button haha.
I wish the enemies were more grounded. There's all these 3D assets and stuff to look at but I have to look at the sky to fight.
It's relatively straight forward.
Also the music was a bit much. I'm not a huge fan of straight-up rock music as the main action theme. If it is there, it needs to be toned down depending on what's going on like in Killing floor or COD zombies.
I do like the idea though, and it was ambitious for the time frame. Good job!

I pulled a lil sneaky on ya by not making the buttons visible (jk). the ui is absolutely trash. Didn't get time to make it better (started 4 days late lol). Will definately improve it afterwards. I'll also add ground enemies. And make the music a bit slow paced. Was going for a doom like music so chose metal hehe. Thanks for playing!
Idk if it was my computer or the game, but it was very laggy to the point that it was unplayable. I see the idea, and I defiinitely like it. But maybe tone down the grass movement, it's super laggy. And enemies seem to spawn in random locations with no indication on when or how they spawn, maybe add a little indicator before spawning an enemy? Crosshair is also pretty invisible. The buttons on the main menu also need to be bigger. Movement and jumping feels pretty good tho. I like the idea that you 1 shot these ghoul thingies but more of them spawn over time. A really solid entry!
About the performance issue, i didnt optimise the game actually. it struggles to give me a solid 30fps even on my pc haha. Ill make a fixed spawn location for the enemies with portals and all in a later update and the UI needs a lot of work. i didnt have time to make it better (started 4 days later lol) . Some UI improvements could make this into the perfect game!
Very caotic game! Fun too, but the only problems I found wwere the buttons on the buttons on the menu were on the very edge of the screen, when you looked down the grass dissapeared and the crosshair was very small so it was hard to see were you were aiming,. Anyway, well done:)

The graphics was too good. Felt like the game could have been better with a health bar. The "speed-lines" when the player uses the grappling hook was a nice detail... The music was amazing. The texture of the rock became a bit weird when I got close to it.
Other than that it was a fun game overall, hope you make better games in future jams!

You got the looks very much down, even though I had to really look for the "play" button on the menu screen. The soundtrack really got me in the Doom mood, and I was suprised by having the ability to have to reload.

Hey, you did a decent job - but I think there's some things you could work on.
One is that I believe you should try to make the grappling hook more dynamic. Another is probably make the reticle a little bigger, it's a bit too small. Make it so that you won't get one hit killed from being touched by the enemies, also make it so that it's possible to see your health & ammo. It looks nice, although I believe you took it from assets? The music was good too, was that from an asset too? If so I think that you should try to challenge yourself and make your own. Overall you did a decent job, I hoped you learned more!
thanks! Will make the rope thicker. About the 1 hp thing, enemies were supposed to do 5 ho damage but that damage is done every frame so u die one hit. Didn't get time to fix it :/
Ammo display is on bottom left corner but the ui is very bad so its really difficult to notice. Will improve the ui and try to make my own assets. Started 4 days late so had to use pre made assets :/
I love the music.
the camera movement and weird zoom makes me motion sick after 30 seconds.
The UI isn't visible.
I think I ran out of ammo, but there's not even a counter that shows me that I have ammo in the first place. It's also not introduced as a mechanic (I didn't see any pickups while walking trough the buildings)
the cross for aiming is so small and that I mistook it for a speck of dust on my screen. It's hard to aim with that.
yea I didn't make the ui properly. The ammo count is in the botttom left corner and there no limited number of bullets. U can reload as many times as you want by pressing r. Wanted to add a how to play option but couldn't as I had no time left. Will also add setting menu to change fov. Will improve crosshair as well.
The game looks very realistic, and the gun works quite well. The music works pretty well (even if it can be too loud) and it does feel like you're fighting monster robots or whatever they are. But, I think there are major flaws in game design. There is no tutorial or set up to why these monsters are here and attacking me, the gun empties up pretty fast and you die in one hit, which stopped me from discovering other cool things like the grappling gun that the other comment is talking about. Also, a lot of the rocks on the sides don't have colliders and I can walk straight through them, does that suppose to happen? Anyway, nice work and good job for completing and uploading a game to the jam.
well thanks for pointing out this out didn't realize some rocks didn't have colliders. Also monsters were supposed to do little damage but I messed up the AI and now it just collides straight into player and deals damage to the player each frame. I wanted to add a settings menu and a how to play menu but had no time so didn't. Thanks for playing!
The game has some great potential. The addition of the two buildings increases the game's fun by a lot. One issue is the lack of UI showing the gun's ammo, or where all of the ghosts are. Another issue is that ghosts spawn anywhere, so it's easy to get ambushed. You 1 health also doesn't help. If this was polished further, it could be a great game. Congrats!
At first i thought this will be a really boring asset flip but this game is currently the most fun game i played on this game jam! Best part was when i discovered grappling gun.
