Cool idea for a game. Lacks music, the camera was a bit to slow, and gameplay is repetitive. There is room for improvement, but you did a great job!

In what way does your game fit the theme?
The best way to earn money fast is to allow the bandit to grow in number and size, thus creating chaos. So, to play effectively, let there be chaos.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I did not create fonts and didn't create the game over sound, but everything else I made myself.

Cool game! I think you should fix the camera as others have said and add some sound :)
Nice interesting game, to my mind there's something to improve. First of all - camera, it's too slow, I always run out of view. Second, the map is to big it's hard to find enemies. At the day 1 I was killing everyone but at the day 2 I just ran around and gather their money. Though it still wasn't enough for anything bcuz prices are crazy. Sorry if I'm writing too much criticism, but I see interesting game and I'd like it to be even more fun. Good luck!
Hey there,
I played and rated your game accordingly!
Though the game was pretty and nice, I would like to point out that the follow speed of camera is so slow. Plus also if the player venture out of the trigger region of the town, the enemies are respawned.
Though a great nice game with a good potential!
I would love if you consider playing and rating my game: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-6/rate/117799
I agree with the others that I'm not super sure that it fits the chaos theme, but its a solid game either way! The only issues I noticed were that it seems a bit easy to cheese the enemies by flipping back and forth between the cells so they reset their position, and the lack of music is honestly a big hit to the experience. Overall it's a nice little experience though, good job!
Played the game for about two minutes and stopped. Reason the camera was way too slow to follow the player. The player moved at a good pace, but the camera couldn't keep up. Also nothing happened for those two minutes. No enemies or anything. I retried it and this time i got attacked in the first few seconds of playing. Which sucked because I was off screen when it happened and that seems to be the only way to move the camera faster. Also attacking with the sword felt impossible. The enemies zip across the screen and the sword seems to take like a wind up or has a cooldown between attacks. The last thing was that attacking had no feedback. When I'm surrounded and can't see the animation I could barely tell if I even was attacking and i definitely didn't know if I hit anything because of the lack of feedback. Over all I saw this game pop up for suggestion and ignored every other game to play it because it looked so cool. And it does look cool. The graphics are simple but its remind me of the simpler gaming days where skill mattered more than fancy visuals. I think you should get rid of the scrolling text at the very beginning just have a screen telling us the stuff, improve camera follow, and maybe not have the enemies feel faster or on the same speed as the player and more attack feedback. I like the idea of the game, but it needs some polish.
Good potential! Was a little strange I could walk off the side of the screen and had to wait till the camera catches up. Also the enemies seem to disappear when you move between map tiles too.
Such a good game, the enemies are so well done and It makes it hard to kill them haha, the art is awesome, overall a very good game I enjoyed it :D
Really awesome game. The concept is quite unique, it has lots of potential! However the main issue I had was lack of sound, the experience would have been much enhanced if there was music. It was a bit off putting. But other than it was a really cool game. And getting upgrades was really rewarding.
Would deffo get on mobile. It would be great to play while on the bus
69 haha nice
Cute and fun game and a lot of potential!
But the enemy balance feels kinda off
After day 1 it was really hard to find anything on the map
Bow could strech a little faster, add some more music and more mobs at the beggining what you have a beggining of a cool meatboy
Why do the enemies disappear like that? although it goes well with the theme XD
great concept btw. I would like you to work on it more. Also, please make the arrow mechanic a bit easier. It's a waste to power up the arrow by holding it for a game like this. As a result, fighting the enemies is harder. Although, if you went for a more realistic game mechanic then it works perfectly.
Loved it.
I played your game it was fun and overall I liked the concept and I gave it 5 stars :p
Pls rate back :D
