During your runs, you will have to watch over the glitches and try not to fail to infinite void below the surface. You will also acquire new skills, which will help you to discover new ways to get the best time possible!

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code, shaders, UI, arts are made by us. Audio and font is outsourced.

Great work!

Very interesting style, I like it. Sometimes the map generation puts you in dead ends but it can be improved! Good job ^^

Developer(+1)

Thanks, nice to hear you like the game! We might improve the game after the jam is over.

good game

very nice! fun to play sometimes the random map generation in the game is really hard. but that can be part of the challenge. nice graphics too.

Would you like to try our game too? You can compete against all the players and put down your own highscore.

Developer(+1)

Thanks, I will check and rate your game now

Cool concept, graphics are really cool!

Don't hesitate to test our epic boss battle :)

Developer

Nice fight, I guess the game is not finished yet, because projectiles don't deal dmg, but is already great.

Very nice and fun game, with great visuals, I love the procedural generation of the map and the unlockable skills, as well as the different tiles, all of this to give a stressful feeling yet a good experience.  Great work really

Thanks, I'm glad you like the game!

The only reproach to bring to this game is the difficulty because of the way the tiles disappear. Otherwise the game is quite well done!

Developer

By writing "because of the way the tiles disappear" do you mean something else than just lowering the amount of time these tiles need to be visible?

I thought that the problem is primarily with the fake tiles, the ones which disappear immediately.

Well crafted and I'm impressed how many different features you managed to implement in just a week; this really felt a lot bigger than a one-week jam game. The shaders and art and especially the melting tiles were great-looking. The super high difficulty reminds me of all those 80s arcade games that you'd put a thousand quarters into. I did find it frustrating that sometimes you can take a dead end path, but I guess that's just part of the difficulty.

Developer (1 edit)

Honestly, I was thinking about removing dead-end paths as these are too punishing for the newer players. Thanks for the nice words!

And also, the game was made in one week, the shaders look nice but believe me, they are nothing unexceptional.

Reminiscent of my primary days when I would jump from tile to tile. Jumping into a white tile meant certain death. Worse still if you were caught without a hall pass. Good show! Lovely shader work.

Great game! I enjoyed the challenge a lot. The music was great with the gameplay. I like how random the tiles were too!

Developer

Thanks! It makes us happy to see people like our game!

It's a stressful game but a great game ! For my first try I didn't manage to have a great score but it's addictive ! Effects shaders are very fun to watch, slabs are maybe  a little bit too fast when they disappeared however this aspect add stress ! I note the music launches twice sometimes when I begin a new game. Not a big bug, the game is really nice to play :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your kind words. The music indeed can start two times when you restart the game by using the spacebar (possibly also when you do that by using UI too fast). I plan to fix it.

The artstyle and music are great and fit so well together, and overall is very good, I managed to make a pretty decent score after few tries! Great job!!

Developer

Thanks for your kind words. Art took a lot of time so it's nice to hear people like it! Also good to hear the game wasn't too hard for once.
