How does you game fit the theme?
You are trapped in a simulation. Your task is to run back to the real world. Watch over where you go! The road isn't straightforward!
During your runs, you will have to watch over the glitches and try not to fail to infinite void below the surface. You will also acquire new skills, which will help you to discover new ways to get the best time possible!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code, shaders, UI, arts are made by us. Audio and font is outsourced.

31 seconds. And that was after many goes. lol - thats the longest I could last. Wasnt too sure how abilities worked but I still had fun and wanted to play several times. Great jam entry! thank you.
As far as I remember, my best time was above 60 seconds without any skills. But maybe I've got lucky, the level generation is random after all.
Each skill works a bit differently, there are passive skills (for which you don't need to do anything, they are just active throughout the whole run) and active skills (which you have to activate with a button). Thanks for playing and leaving feedback!
Thanks, nice to hear you like the game.
The game looks so good! I really like how everything is done to fit the theme so well... The background is really neat especially. The gameplay is genuinely fun too, though at times it does feel a bit unfair and I couldn't manage to get very far to try skills. I think if the difficulty was a bit more gradual then it'd feel a bit better for me to play!
Thanks for the kind words. I agree that sometimes the game is a bit unfair with crown spawns and invisible but fake tiles.
I really like how the game looks. The idea is quite unique . However sometimes the platforms in front of me will disappear , which it makes impossible to go further
yeah, this sometimes can happen if you aren't fast enough. Some skills can make the player faster so with more progress, you will get better times.
The artstyle is beautiful, and the music fits nicely with it, well done ! Had fun playing it! A bit of difficulty is always good !
Thanks for your kind words! And yeah, the game is difficult, maybe even a bit too difficult.
Great game! The visuals are awesome. Really hard game but I like the challenge!
Thanks for the nice words!
Your game has a nice visual style. It is very hard to stay alive for a long time haha :] or maybe I am just bad at playing.
The soundtrack really fits as well!
Yeah, staying alive for a longer time is rather hard, especially without skills.
Beautiful and nice game, really hard but that's kind of game that makes you want to try again and again ! ^^
Really good job ! ;)
Thanks, nice to hear kind words. And honestly, I think the game is a bit too hard. Maybe I will change this after the jam.
Very fun. The visuals are exquisite - I love the aesthetic and the way the darker tiles fade away. It's very easy to play over and over again and I love the little animation the player does when he moves. I didn't manage to unlock many skills because the crowns are a bit tricky to get, but the system seems well put together.
It felt a bit unfair at times, however. I think the glitchy tiles that disappear are a bit hard to spot when you're moving quickly and I would sometimes get caught in a dead end with no escape.
Thanks for the extensive feedback! Yeah, I agree the game feels unfair sometimes, especially because of crown spawns and invisible fake tiles.
Overall awesome game, I love the effects
Thanks, making all of this art took a lot of time, so that means a lot to us!
wow this looks and plays amazing!! really fun playthrough, enjoyed all the glitchy mechanics and atmosphere. can definitely feel the theme. great work!!
Thanks! Nice to hear you like the game.
it's very addicting, not gonna lie! very fun game, and the graphics go very well with it!
Thanks, the graphic was especially problematic, so I'm happy to hear that!
Nice game, I liked how there were multiple types of tiles that would disappear differently. Good job :)
Thanks, nice to hear that! I'm glad people have played long enough to notice these kind of things as I was getting feedback of some getting overwhelmed with the game.
Wow I really liike the look of this one! also how it feels Bonus points for the menu! Great work!
Thanks! I'm glad you like these effects as they took some time to make. I've rated your game too, great work!
thanks man :D
The visual effects are amazing I really like your art style it looks kinda random but fits somehow together although the game is pretty hard. Great work!
Well, honestly it is a bit random. We've tried a rather difficult art style (converting 3D art to 2D) and the first attempt came out terribly. The second attempt is pretty much what you see right now. But we've never managed to properly finish it because the artist couldn't find enough time to work on the game the second half of the week.
Two things have come out poorly, color pallet (colors feel like they are washed out but at the same time they are tiring to look at) and the fact assets do not always match.
Damn nice job, quite a challenge too and since i like challenges its perfect!
Im curious about the seamingly random levels, how did you achieve that? Is it a bunch of preset levels or are you generating the levels proceduraly?
Thanks for playing and leaving the comment. I will review your game too!
About the level generation, there are about 20 smaller pieces of the level (let's call them segments). Each has some specific (and required) properties:
To put it simply, The new piece of the level is spawning at the end of the other segment. There are more things to come with a good, procedural generation. For example, tools for managing which tiles should spawn first, which when you are at the beginning of the game (or when you are new to the game), etc.
ahh i see thats smart, thanks for the information!
I loved this game man it was really cool. quite hard but lots of fun well done my guy
Love how the world changes every restart of the game play and managed to survive at least 30 seconds in this fast paced game hahaha. Awesome job!
Thanks, nice to hear that! The level is made out of smaller segments, which then are spawned in real-time in desired positions.
I think your game would benefit too from such procedural generation.
Pretty challenging, but I like it!
Thanks, that's nice to hear it!
The game is a bit matter of luck, especially at the beginning. Once you have gotten new skills, the game will become much easier.
Nice game really good art skills
Thanks, It's really nice to hear that! I've rated your game too.
