How does you game fit the theme?
Detective's Illusion is based around the concept of Illusions, their applications and detection. You must see through these myriad illusions and seek what is real, among those that are not.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
We did! We had an amazing team for this Jam!

the graphics, the lighting, the effects are so awesome. This was so much fun, as were the puzzles. :-) Did i see and solve everything after receiving the final letter, which appeared on the map? I wonder what the dagger and the compass were for. Did they had any use? Or the map itself?
Really good graphics, pretty good twist, really liked the atmosphere. However I was very clueless at multiple points in the game. It was done in 7 days though, so it's still very impressive!
The graphics are really good,
The game feels super well polished,
but it's extremely hard to figure out what you're supposed to do,
adding subtitles or some objective marker somewhere in the game would be really nice,
the voice acting is really nice though,
Good job!
The graphics are truly amazing!! love the particles and vfx as well, I think it adds a lot to the atmosphere and feeling of the game!! It is kinda hard for me to figure out how to play the game with just using the audio, I think it would help making some visual ones like subtitles or on screen game objectives. Other than that, I think this game is perfect!! Very polished and well made considering the time given to create it!! ^^b
Rated, graphics and audio wise are fantastic, really well polished! and cool story! really great effort making this game! good job!
also would you kindly help rate mine too? it'd be a huuuge help!, THANKS a LOT!!!

Fun bug: you can clip behind the bookcase near the door! Overall a great game missing some crucial UI and direction.
The graphics and voice acting are amazing, but the gameplay itself is confusing. I searched this whole room and only managed to find a recipe behind the letter. The background music is very good. Overall a good game that needs some polishing.
The 3d assets are polished to a degree that it shows where you guys ran out of time, like the crosshair being a bit blurry, which is something i usually wouldnt even mention in a comment.
Obviously the graphics are insane (some neat shaders aswell), the music was also really fitting. I didnt know that the amount of times you mix an egg has such a big impact on the outcome.
Congratz on submitting an awesome game guys!
damn the graphics are awesome. did you guys really make them all in 7 days!?! that's amazing.
i couldn't finish the game cuz I got serious motion sickness on this... such a shame. i really wanted to enjoy and explore more
I didn't complete the game, it's a very cool and interactive room though. I managed to find 5 clues. The recorded voice was pretty good, but I wish there were some more clear instructions. Awesome experience overall!
this game was breathtaking i like every thing about from the graphics to the music, atmosphere...
Well done! The concept is nice, the music and visuals are very soothing and go together well. I was able to complete the game without any bugs which is not the case for most jam games.
I'm missing a bit of UI elements: like a text support for the voiceovers, and visual hints to grasp the lens concept. I was able to complete the game mostly due to "bruteforcing" the puzzles rather than using my brain to figure out patterns and such.
The voiceover is recorded and played back in stereo which is a bit unsettling (basically sounds like ASMR but I don't think I wanted that). I would recommend making the track mono and panning it right in the center (this is common practice for voiceover in films and games). On a more subjective note I'm not a fan of the sightings and the overall tone of the voice but I'm well aware it's not an easy job!
Thanks for taking part in the jam and good luck with the next one! I hope you keep on making games.
The game looks amazing. Even though I didn't know what the hell I was doing, just moving around the area you've created was immersive. The graphics worked so well with me 2060 that I felt like I was playing a showcase made by a AAA game. Incredible level design.
