How does you game fit the theme?
It's about a cat and dog going through caves together to retrieve their owners lost item. In the end, its about family!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code is ours except the dialogic asset for Godot. Also we used Kenney fonts and sound effects. The rest is made by us during the jam period.

Great idea mixing Isaac with a mining game! the only thing I would say is that the game is too much short, it would have been nice to have more stuff to do. Nice job!
Cute little game. I would maybe like the other character to have some different abilities so you have to use both (not just the close attack). But overall pretty good game :)
Great characters and dialogue system!
The difficulty was unforgiving at first but after I got the hang of it then it became trivial.
The pixel art was nice. The music was simple but still pleasant and fit the pixel art.
Overall, a nice entry.
Nice game. Loved that you could interact with characters and the dialogues were cute. Good job!
Pretty nice roguelike! The size of the snakes to show health is a nice touch and the dialogue is a nice addition, especially with the animations with it. Was a bit too easy to die to the circles on the ground though since the hitbox on them is really big. Also got stuck for a bit since the e to interact wasn't in the how to play section within the game itself
i usually dont talk about the cover art but this game has the most elegant cover art ive seen, its not too complex but its still very appealing, now about the game itself, i appreciate having the text being skippable by spam clicking(seriously thank you) and the game looks great! the art seems consistent with the style of music used and it feels cohesive, pretty fun to play too, good game!
I really appreciate you noticing the cover! I tried to mimic a 1 bit style, it shows you are not alone too right? Thank you for playing!
Thank you!
Nice game, I like the animations they are super cute btw. Nice work, and nice title too.
Now would you be so kind to try my game. It gives you a challenge: try not to rage! And anyone who finishes level 3 will get a prize! Cuz you wont, trust me. Or are you too scared to try it??
This is a good concept and very well executed. Good job. The animations were super cute and nice.
If you have the time, please do check out my submission too.

Cute! Loved the animations, especially the melee attack! Very consistent design, neat pixel art! Characters were fun, and loved the ending screen animation. Not too difficult, perfect jam game.
Thank you for playing! Your feedback means a lot for us.
Cool game, Because the attackers were stuck for the majority of my game, I wasn't exactly sure why I was dying when running into the round things, and I didn't really understand the value in using the dog when using the cat's projectiles was more simpler and safer. However, I truly believe that if this game were polished further, I'd play it on my free time. For your first jam, it's quite impressive! I'd love to see more of this great work.
Thank you for playing! Your feedback really means a lot for us. Initially we planned the cat to have a cooldown on its projectiles but unfortunately due to the time limit we hadn't the opportunity to polish the game the way we wanted.
Thats fine I still really enjoyed it :)
I couldnt quite tell why i was dying when running in to the round objects since the enemies were stuck most of my game, and I didnt really see a point in using the dog when it was much easier and safer to use the cats projectiles. But I genuinely feel like that if this game got more polish, this is something I'd see myself playing on my days off. Its very impressive for your first jam! Great work, id love to see more of this.

Cute game idea! I liked the different attacks for the characters, although I think i encountered a bug with the cat disappearing. I enjoyed it, though! Great job!
Thank you for playing and for your feedback! We planned the dog and the cat to also represent the amout of lifes you have left, so if the enemy (the worm) touchs you the active character will die. We are aware that it isn't clear enough for the player, due to the time limit we hadn't the opportunuty to polish the game the way we wanted to.
Love it. Rate my one also.
Cool little game u have hear nice mechanics and use of art and music. the mining and how that all worked was very reminicent on how stardew valley does it and was a nice twist well done
Thank you for playing! We were inspired by Stardew Valley mining mechanics so it is really nice hearing you noticed (and liked) the similarity.
Great job on this game! I loved the design & the player movements were sooo smooth, very nice.
Thank you for playing!
Cool roguelike game. Hope there is a restart button to replay the game as I was stuck in a certain part of the game due to the dog died
Thank you for playing! We really appreciate your feedback and we'll take note on that for further projects.
