How does your game fit the theme?
It would spoil the surprise - play the game and find out! (Takes about 3 minutes, it's very short)

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote most of the code from scratch, or used Youtube videos to tackle a particular mechanic. Most art was drawn my myself. Music is CC0 and credited in description. Also Sprach Zarathustra is public domain in the US and the version I used is listed as CC0. Sound effects are cc0.

Super fun and juicy physics game. I wasn't expecting the cat to climb up the rainbow lines, but I really like how that feels. Lots of great feedback and distruction along theway.

Very cool game! The audio, graphics, and animation made this extra enjoyable on top of smashing things. Well done!

This is one of the funnest games on here, its really satisfying becoming the mega chonk of ultimate destruction. I want to play more of this!

Thank you!  <3

I really enjoyed this game, super fun to draw squiggles and see where the cat would go, much like how you'd actually play with a cat!

Thank you for playing!

Good simple game. Short and fun experience, and nice interpetation of the theme.

Personally I found the ending scene art very nice, but in the rest of teh game it kinda lacked. You had good potential with the decorations, but the buildings themselves were kinda dull.

Otherwise nice game!

I spent too much jam time getting the  mechanics to work (and they are still a bit finnicky....but so are cats).  I was also concerned about web gl puurformance.  Thank you for playing!  :)

Good game! Simple and really fun, graphics & audio are nice. Physics gets weird as you get bigger, and right click seems to not always work, which made it hard at first to play.

However, the big problem for me is the theme: I don't see where it fits! You can replay, sure, but I don't understand the magic behind the "loop" :/ Is anything kept between runs? Everything seems to reset. Also, what is the score for? Since we have a tag "smol" etc to tell us how big we are?

Note: I'm not sure "Also Sprach Zarathustra" is CC0 (the music itself might be, but not the interpretation, and

Developer

Thank you for playing and critiquing!  You brought up some good questions!  :3

The Song:

The version I used is listed as CC0, and the song is considered public domain in most countries as of 2019.   If somehow I get a cease and desist or something, I'll gladly change it, but I highly doubt that will happen.  The interpretation is a parody of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Your interpretation of the theme:

A new beginning doesn't mean that things have to carry over from "An End".

The idea is you get so big you become the "Earf"...which has a cat that will eventually destroy that "Earf" and become new "Earf".

However, this is all subjective and you are welcome to interpret that any way you like (and I think that's pretty neat).  :D

The Meters:

The total destruction meter is part gag and technically what determines your chonk level.  It wasn't meant to really be taken all that seriously and was mostly for humor.  :)

Thank you again for playing!

A straightforward and fun game. The amount of polish and juice you could implement is fantastic for a short time.
