How does your game fit the theme?
You play a Samurai and have to fight your shadows from the past who reproduce your movement from your last run.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I made everything but the font, taken from google fonts, and a few sounds taken from free sound effects banks (explosion, sword, gong)

Really cool idea, and it was fun to play! Would like to see it getting some polish, with maybe new levels, and complicated scenarios (maybe having the enemies go in special paths to make it harder to avoid your shadow, or maybe the shadows still can kill enemies which would be an asset for the player to use in order to beat the enemies in more difficult levels...)

Thanks! Happy you enjoyed it! I thought about adding more enemies with tricky movement indeed. Also some kind of meteor / ground cracks spawning under the player to force him to move, but didn’t have the time.
Fun game with interesting mechanic, I enjoyed it, thanks. I thought there is 8 levels (cause you know, there are 8 spawn points), however I got into 9th and nobody spawned so I was there alone. Probably bug :)
Hey thanks! Looks like a bug indeed, I’ll check into that… If you defeat the 8 Shadow Samurai, there should be the win screen. You can consider that you win the game ;)

Very fun! And with a nice bop. It was fun making strategies of how to act to later be killable. I would love to see different levels with different layouts also to mix it up. Great idea, great execution. Well done!

Wait, I love this idea. I found myself being punished for continually spamming the attack button because I'd end up just getting killed by my past selves. Active combat that requires you to think ahead. Plus music fits really well. 6/6

I very much enjoyed playing this game. It definitely made it harder when fighting yourself. However, just one issue, the cursor is too big. It takes up too much space of the screen. Other than, it was a splendid game.

The idea of fighting your own incarnations is interesting, but I think the implementation is a bit flawed - it's not clear why you need to attack them. In my opinion, it would be better to replace the fight against your shadows with a competition in speed to destroy opponents. Also, the cursor is just huge, it covers half the screen. However, the visuals are nice and the concept is interesting, I liked it.
