How does your game fit the theme?
Whenever you fail, you restart again on a new layer and the dead body becomes the new playground.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code by myself and all the assets apart from the music are made from scratch.

Cool idea! It took a bit for me to understand the after death mechanic but I could definitely see this becoming addictive for some people.
Super interesting and fun idea! Really well done :)
Really sick concept and awesome game! Really hard also! Great job! :)
I loved the concept, but sometimes it's just TOO hard to play.
Nice snake implementation, with a twist.
Game is difficult , i like the idea. Is like a improved snake game. Good job.
Thanks
The idea is really nice, and so are the sounds, the only thing that bothered me was the snake response delay, not sure if this was made on purpose for the game to be difficult but it made the game difficult 😁. The max level I reached was 3 🙂.
Good job for reaching that! The delay is because you need to be at a exact position on the grid... Thanks for playing!
The sounds in this game are so good!! Very relaxing and go nicely alongside the graphics. My only complaint is that (at least for me) it was impossible to play when I reached layer 2
Thanks for playing! I should probably make it easier.... I made the sounds with Lego bricks :)
Really cool take on the ol snake game. I sadly was not very good at this lol. My best was 23 on layer 2. Still a really good use of the theme and really fun to play!
Thanks for playing! Maybe I'll release an easier version after the Jam.
Nice snake remake! I like the 3D looking and that is quick to play. I would have added a bit more margin for the player to turn before a crash cause is quite difficult to get the exact timing but good job overall, it was fun to play!
You can turn a little bit before you reach the next turnpoint but I guess it is still quite difficult. Thanks for playing!
This is such a cool and unique take on a snakelike game. definitely 5 stars for innovation. And it certainly fits the theme well. If you keep working on this game, I think there's a lot you could do to make it really fun. It would be really cool if there was a way to increase your play area even as you stack up, so that if you play well enough you could potentially keep going up forever.
There is this powerup that increases the player area (it doesn't work on the first layer)... it is rare though.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
The idea is actually so simple yet mind-blowing. But I just don't think it works well with the gameplay unless you are a snake god who can just make a snake as big as the board. Still, this was very refreshing good job!
Maybe I could make it easier by spawning the powerup more often or something like that... Thanks for your feedback!
I like the idea of the game it adds an extra layer to snake. the game was a bit unresponsive/delayed. I couldn't turn fast and my dead body wasn't as long as it was when i was alive. Still great job.
Did you play the browser version? Also... it has a small delay because it waits until you're on the next grid position. I'm glad you liked it nonetheless! Thanks!
yeah i played the browser version, i did notice that it did wait until you were in position after playing some more. after figuring that out it made the game feel better.
I like your take on a snakelike, fits the theme super well. Wish I had been able to down/up a layer, might've helped add some variety. Otherwise well done!
Thanks!
Great idea! The game is fun and hard.
Thanks for playing!
