How does your game fit the theme?
When you reach the end of the level your character turns back (making it the new start of the level) and (small spoiler) at the last level your robot finds itself in the ruins of a city, maybe that was the end, but there's a new start germinating.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I coded and created all the assets but not the music.

Really interesting concept! I love the art style and gameplay; it kinda reminds me of the mobile game 'Vector' if you heard of it :)
Yes!! Vector was one of my favorite games, I used to play it a lot and I always loved its aesthetic combined with fast action :D
I liked the music.
I liked it too xD
More checkpoints would be nice. Overall nice game.
Very nice style, the artwork and music worked well together. The character controller was nice. Having to restart the level because I hit a platform on the way back was punishing - made the learning curve very repetitive. Also, platforms don't usually do damage, so some visual clue about what is going to kill you would be nice.
Thanks for the feedback ! If I'm going to remake this game I'll definitely balance the difficulty better
Nice little game with a relaxing soundtrack and a very appealing visual style - I definetly got some Speedrunners vibes! The idea with having to complete the track backwards once reaching the end fits the theme very well and makes for some interesting gameplay - the only thing I have wished for was a checkpoint at the end so you don't have to start over the whole track once you failed your run. Very solid entry - congratulations!
Many thanks!
The Speedrunners vibe was exactly what I was going for with this game, but the lack of checkpoints is way too punishing indeed
Pretty cool game
So nice! It really has a Parkour vibe (really liked that game).
The overall design is really great, and the animations of the robot are top-notch! The level design is clever, and I like the fact that you have multiple mechanics available (like the wind in level 2).
The game is a little bit difficult (which is not a problem), but I find the death a little bit punitive. Depending on where you want to go with the overall type of game, I think adding checkpoints could be a great idea.
Good job!
Thx!
It was really fun to play around with the level design - at least it was fun to playtest as I was doing so XD
I would say that this game would lean more towards the 'finding a nice way to swing through a level' type of game, hence the quick level restarts to help with route testing. But I have to agree that the death detection is a bit harsh, the way I coded it is like: if velocity x of player =< 0, /kill (which isn't exactly the most accurate way of doing it)
it's just super relaxed. everything fits together very well. you really sink into the gameplay
Thanks!! It's so nice to hear that someone felt immersed by something I created :) I would say that many types of artists feel this way too (like writers, painters, storytellers etc.)
I enjoyed the game and especially like the game's look. With the black forground and the bright colors in the background it looked really interesting. Good job!
ty :D This design is heavily inspired by the game Vector, I would recommend it if you would like to see more games in this style
Art looks very professional and the movement is also very smooth and nice. However the precision needed for all the jumps to not hit a wall or something was too much for me. I also wish there would be a checkpoint after turning back (I can NOT play games, I'm a total nobo). But my skill issue doesn't make your game any less good than it is :)
Thanks!
I indeed should add some quality of life features such as checkpoints and less confusing jump mechanics (or at least code them better), it's just that I'm so familiar with platforming that I sort of forgot that there were people that weren't so much into it like me while developing this entry
Cool game, I loved the design of the game and the idea.
Amazing and solid artwork simple and clean, I like the menu animation and the UI, great job!
Thanks :D
I always try to keep things simple so that it's easier to make them consistent, it's a balance game between adding more or less UI to the screen at the same time
Phenomenal! Absolutely buttery smooth controls! Very well made. It was hard for me because I think it was hard to tell when to exactly jump without dying. But art and audio absolutely was amazing, and I couldn't get over how nice it feels to play.
Ty!!
I put a good amount of time fine tuning the controls but the jump feels a bit random indeed.
You nailed it, this game is incredible!
The gameplay and animation are smooth, levels are challenging and music give me good vibes :D
I'm glad to hear that! Thx :)
So it was worthwhile to spend some time adding coyote time and jump buffer :D
The main character animation is cool, and the way he transition to run faster is well made. Nice game!
I LOVE IT
Bruh the animations, snappy controls, all the different routes a Player can take to beat a level, unnecessary-but-fun Crouch Jump-
Man, this game has a great Speedrun Game potential!
A Solid, Great Great 10/10!
I'm really happy to hear that you liked it! Many thanks!
Great! Like the way you included a level with instructions on how to play. The animation on the main sprite is really smooth. Looking forward to finding out how you did it in the video ;-)
Thanks!!!
I'll let you know when I upload
Love the use of the "silhouette" look, it gave the game a unique and charming look. I also really like how you used one level to essentially make it 2 levels by making the player run back the way they came in a different way! Very clever.
Congrats on this submission!
Thank you!
It was quite a fun challenge to create levels that are played both ways.
art style really rocks...... and the twist at the end was very cool. daymn
Thx! Maybe the ending was a bit sudden but that's what I managed to do with the time I had XD
