I wrote all the code and made all the art my self. I used sound effects from Kenney.

Yeah, as someone mentioned below, an AI enemy would be a really cool addition.
Well made simple and neat-looking game. But it would be better if there ai player or multiplayer added

Nice game but had to play it alone so maybe a single player playing against ai would be good?

Apparently I’m left-handed at pong lol (I played against myself and the blue paddle won :P)
I would have liked the max speed of the ball to be a little higher… At times it got pretty hard to score.

Nice game, the sound effects are pleasing, the right paddle seems to come from the right which is a nice touch.
I'd have liked the abilities to be more than one use. Some background music would be nice, or an AI for singleplayer. The ball did get stuck on the circle for a bit until it despawned.

I love the soft audio when the paddle gets hit. Sadly I had to play it alone so I didn't play it so long... Good job!

Pong is always good! Agree with the comment below that it's good to see a local multiplayer game.
Gotta love some Pong. Managed to get my partner to play this with me and we had a lot of fun (once we'd read the controls and knew how to use those abilities!). In game UI telling you the controls would be good, and as someone else mentioned, a cooldown for these abilities would have felt really cool. I also would have loved to have just seen more (don't take that negatively, it's a game jam game after all!) because i thought it was good fun, would have been good to play a few more rounds / get more abilities etc.
All in all, great effort. Well done!
The game was very well made. I really like the animation and visuals for the impact of the ball on the paddles. Plus the sound was well done!
I had a great time playing it, even single player.
