Thanks! The silhouette was a last minute addition :P

Thank you!

Thanks!

Definitely cool looking! Among the best that I played in the 3D side of things.

I do agree that combat is a little repetitive and weapons break a bit too quickly, but other than that, good submission!

(PS: Some of the weapons look sick!)

Cool addition to Pong in order to fit the theme!

Apparently I’m left-handed at pong lol (I played against myself and the blue paddle won :P)

I would have liked the max speed of the ball to be a little higher… At times it got pretty hard to score.

Good entry!

Nice game! Cool little twist on a known mechanic to fit the theme!

I gotta say, I was done on my first playthrough but then I saw there were ranks… Way to get me hooked! (Couldn’t make it past Diamond though :P)

Fun and simple. My only pet peeve is that the music does get a little repetitive, especially if your run spans several minutes. The tempo changes are a nice addition to mitigate that, but I would have loved at least one more track to cleanse the palate.

Cool entry!

Cool use of the theme, and I feel like this concept could be really good if polished!

That being said, I didn’t really like the fact that if I’m unlucky (which I was lol) I have to die over and over again and start from the beginning to progress. I guess I just wasn’t patient enough. Not only the portals but also some obstacles were almost unavoidable if you didn’t know they were coming.

I feel if the game was a little more forgiving, I would have enjoyed it a lot more :(

However that mechanic is intentional, and it might just be me being bad at the game :P

Good entry!

Liked the use of the theme on this one!

Definitely took me way more than I’m willing to admit to figure out how to play it, but once I did I breezed through the levels!

Fun entry and a nice little twist on a well-known game style.

Thank you!

Thank you! Definitely, I neglected SFX a little bit and ended up scrambling last minute.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks!

Liked the concept (racing against yourself) and the mechanics! (who doesn’t love a grappling hook?)

I would agree that the mechanics are a little finicky though, I made it as far as the level with the red floor where you have to grapple 3 times and I just couldn’t figure out a consistent way to do it :(

Also, I don’t know if it was intended, but if the level was hard I just waited to get the clock on the first run to give myself enough time on the second :P

Fun game!

Thank you!

Thanks! Glad the ambiance looked good!

Nice, cozy little game. Well executed!

One thing I would have added is some sort of fade-in / fade-out of the songs when the seeds land, the change in tracks feels a little abrupt.

But other than that, great submission!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks!

Excellent game! Very similar to what I made, though a bit more cohesive IMO.

Great job!

Cool game! Couple of seconds away from beating it… All those healing drones couldn’t keep up!

I really liked the loadout system! One criticism is that visibility of the cursor was quite low, I lost track of it multiple times which made me waste some shots.

Good work!

Cool and quick! I liked the zombies blocking the way so you’re forced to fight them off before advancing, would have liked to see more of that! I just skipped over to the boss and punched away :P

Cool concept, good audio, nice!

Thanks! I’m glad the hints helped, I **knew ** they had to be implemented!

Thanks a lot!

Cool game! I loved the art style of the characters (especially phoenix knight!).

LMB as the slash attack was a little counter-intuitive on keyboard. I kept trying to kite and attack backwards, forgetting that I have to turn to actually attack the enemies behind me.

Just a little pet peeve though, great game!

The tutorial screenshots have a Windows watermark that made me lol for no apparent reason!

The tutorial said dying is encouraged which made me think that I’d only lose if I died to the boss… guess not! haha

Would have liked a way to go back to the main menu, restarting the page made the whole game load again :(

Good stuff tho!

Thank you! I wanted to make a fun little introductory cutscene but your game stole the prize on that area!

Nice little game! Would have liked to have the ability to skip tutorials/cutscenes after the first playthrough.

Also, in the ending cutscene, the times are swapped! (it shows your chicken time as your bird time, and your bird time as your chicken time)

Good job nonetheless, fun!

Thank you!

Thanks! Seems I have skipped your game… Will play it shortly!

Thanks! The puzzles in your game were much better crafted haha!

Great game! Very fun and cool concept. Would have liked a quick reset button to restart the level (sometimes I figured out I was screwed way before the level was over :P).

Also, character visibility is a little difficult on the fire level.

But great stuff nonetheless!

Nice little gameplay idea to go with the theme.

Couple of suggestions if you don’t mind:

  • Music was panned 100% to the left (at least for me) which made it really hard to concentrate.
  • I don’t think the game ever got faster / more difficult. I saved 100 souls and the game kept going at the same pace. It should become more challenging over time!
  • “Killing” a good soul should also count as a failure.

Good job though!

Cat games ftw!

I had some issues with the floaty jump, specially on slopes. Also, the layout reset back to AZERTY after my first playthrough :( Had to always go back and change it.

I found the cobwebs to be a little unforgiving, sometimes I just went down to see if I was on the right path and then I was screwed.

Other than that, cool concept and fun little physics platformer!

VERY polished game on the graphics side. Props! Gameplay is a great take on the theme, lots of potential! Would have liked to see some more mechanics, I found that I almost never used the dash after getting quick fall.

Music is clipping a little for me, which is unfortunate cause there’s a great vibe to this game.

Great job!

Great, fun little bullet-hell / rogue-lite! Would agree with other commentators that music / SFX are a bit on the loud side.

Overall: good use of the theme, fun gameplay, and good looking graphics. Great job! (PS: the “burst fire” that you get when you have 2 or fewer hearts is a bit OP!)

Very hectic! The soundtrack was the right choice for this kind of game for sure! Would have liked to have a little more fine control of my character, but fun nonetheless!

Nice little game! Would have liked to have a clearer goal, though there’s nothing wrong with punching away and coming back to life as a different animal!

Can’t play it either :(

Strong modern Bubble Bobble vibes from that bopping theme! Solid gameplay and UI looked quite polished. Good job!

Props on that intro cutscene. Couldn’t quite figure out the gameplay, it’s probably me not getting a grip on it, but most times I just lost without realizing why.

Most fun I’ve had so far trying out submissions! Real Dome Keeper vibe. Solid graphics, nice little varied soundtrack, and fun movement mechanics.

Very solid submission.

PS: I would also agree with the idea that sometimes it takes too long for you to respawn (I’m writing this comment as I wait for it!). It should be fixed time rather than fixed speed on that animation.
