How does your game fit the theme?
By eating your own tail and moving on to the next level, you complete an ouroboros loop and turn your rear end into a new beginning.
WASD to move, R to RESTART level
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, except for fonts
Note: The goal is to loop back to eat your own tail. You can move the brown circular crates. You need to eat all people before looping back to your tail to progress.

This game is so cool. It is really juicy and mind twisting and everything seem made in the best way! I find a bug where you could simply move on tile and eat you tail dirrectly in some level with no human
The game is really fun and I really love the concept. Excellent puzzle design!
Nice! Glad you had fun
Great puzzle game! Seems simple enough, but then you really have to start thinking ahead. SFX and Music are spot on! I like the way the whole board shakes when you eat someone or finish the level. How did you get that effect?
Just noticed you submitted 1 minute and 11 seconds before the deadline! :-)
Oh yeah lmao :)) that was stressful
Thanks for the feedback!! The board shake effect comes actually is done through camera movement. It looks like the board is moving but it’s actually the camera! When you eat a person, it plays an animation where the camera shakes and a transparent UI element appears to make the screen change color. Hope that helps!
That's great! Thanks for sharing some trade secrets! :-)
I'm not a fan of puzzles, but this was a nice one, you got a nice interpretation of the theme!
Great work :D
Thank you! Hope this made you like puzzles a little more ;)
Great job on the theme! This jam had a tough theme to make mechanics for, but I think you nailed it. The core gameplay was well made and fun to play, the visuals and sound were cohesive, there was lots of content to enjoy, and you went really far with the one mechanic without making it too complicated. The level design was clever, and the goal was crystal clear (assuming the player knows what an Ouroboros is). Really not much to complain about at all! All it needs is a small tutorial.
Thank you so much for all the feedback! It makes me very happy that you liked the game!
Really creative game. The puzzles were definitely on point! Great job!
Thanks so much i’m flattered
Really great game! Loved the puzzles, the difficulty level was on point. I like how the new things were shown to us as the simplest puzzles at first and we could figure out ourselves how they work. Keep it up :)
Thanks Cymus! The difficulty level was hard to get right but I think it worked out okay!
Incredible game! i am a big fan of the puzzles as the feel well designed and clean, although the music could be a little but louder.
Thanks for the feedback!
I'm no puzzle expert but this feels like a 10/10 puzzle mechanic! Sad I'm not good enough to finish it without brute forcing
(also, the snak is so cute oMg)
Haha tysm! We loved making the sprites look as cute as possible especially the lamp and the moss
You kinda have to make the visuals as cute as possible to balance how dark the gameplay is XD
Nice to hear that you guys had fun participating in the jam as well :D
Great game, this game has a few simple and easy to understand machenics, and yet if you combine them you have a chalanging and fun puzzle game. puzzle games are always realy fun to play.
Amazing game, great job♥
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed!
Good puzzle designs! I suggest you have some in game explanations or clues when adding new mechanics. The wood barrels and eating people were quick enough to learn, however the gates with the counters on them were less obvious.
I think it's challenging to layout these kind of puzzles, so great job.
Thanks dude, yea I wish we could go back and change that but we can't!
A fun puzzle game. Interesting idea for an Ouroboros!
Thank you for playing!
A really cool puzzle game! I love the art and the music really nice and relaxing. I think my only criticism would be to add some text or something to the start to explain certain mechanics in the game like the boxes you can move. Otherwise awesome entry!
Yeah, that is true! I watched my friends play the game and they all got stuck on level 2 because of the box too lol. But thank you so much for playing!
A fun and pretty well made little puzzle game. The visuals is good, the idea is fun, and I overall had fun playing the game. The introduction to the game mechanics could have been a been better, and it took me some time to really understood what I was suppose to do. But anyway a good jam game. Well done.
Thank you! I agree, we should have added text on the first few levels telling what to do, I really appreciate the comment!
Your interpretation of the theme is entertaining, I had fun playing it, well done!
Thank you so much! Glad to hear that you had fun
This is a very fun and creative interpretation of the theme.
Thanks man! Loved your game too :P
:o a puzzle game!!!!!!!!
this is epic
absolutely going into my favourite games of this jam leaderboard
Thanks a lot, love your username!
the game is very fun I really enjoyed playing it!
Thanks a bunch!
This game is great, the music fits very well and I got stuck on the levels a few time. Great job making the game playable whilst maintaining a good bit of difficulty
Thanks satchel!
Wow thats realy fun to play. realy nice idea!
Thanks, your game was great too!
