Very interesting concept! The gameplay was solid, the balancing might have been off but it doesn't take anything away from the really creative ideas behind it, like that whole thing of entering portals after hitting the bullets and fighting the boss inside another world, that is so much fun, had me excited every time I went through the portal! great game overall!
Very cool transitions and interesting idea to be going inside enemies/projectiles.
Pretty cool game!
Very unique and cool ideas in this! Going inside the bullets and bosses was something I'd never thought of, and is a completely new thing for me, so cudos for that! Controls were nice, and UI fading away when overlapping with player was a nice QOL addition. The weakening laser charged a bit slowly in my opinion, so maybe it could be made faster. Otherwise than that, very very nice!
Also we'd be super happy if you checked out our submission as well! :)
Thanks for the feedback!
Tried your game, its pretty good!
Loved the submission! Keep up the good work!
man, I loved your game, I loved the idea of getting into enemies and having mini-levels inside, great. I want more from this game. I died at the lighthouse (it's a lighthouse, right? It has legs, but it's a lighthouse, haha), and I couldn't pass. You can put different power-ups and weapons to increase the fun, very cool game, congratulations.
yeah it's a lighthouse. Thanks for the feedback!
Good game. Could have used a more standard tutorial rather than the controls in the corner, but still good, very polished for a jam game, and good art.
Thanks! Really wanted to implement a step by step tutorial, but time restraints got in the way, so I guess a post jam version would work
That was trippy! 5/5 for creativity. I loved it. I would say that the bullet patterns could use some more variation for 1-on-1 parts. Super cool entry. Good job!
Thanks for the feedback!
This is one of the most unique game ideas I have seen in so long time. To be honest I wouldn't mind playing more refined version of it as a full game. It seems like a fun game loop.
Im' just a little bit confused what the player's hitbox is. Most of the time they didn't hit me when I was sure they did, so it's a pleasant surprise, but its still a little bit confusing
Probably in slow mode should have put a hitbox indicator for that. Thanks for trying the game!
Nice but the WASD to move right click stuff takes up a lot of space... Maybe just a tutorial in the future?
Yeah the game does need a tutorial as it's sometimes confusing, Thanks for feedback!
This game is incredible!
I love the thing you did with the additional arena that gives you upgrades, it just makes the game so much more engaging and interesting than other games. It does need some polish and feedback but the handling is right at the sweetspot.
Glad you liked it so much!
Very nice game. I really enjoyed the little mini games while you are fighting the bosses.
Nice game and concept. Took me a first play through to realise the stuff about the right click laser, and entering the bullets, and filling the blue bar. But great way of breaking down a baddy.
Funky graphics :) gave it a fun vibe.
Having the option to skip bosses is a great idea for jams :), giving me the chance to see a few different bosses you made, so thanks for that :).
I did struggle on most levels though :P. Perhaps i'm just not good enough at these games :). Didn't notice any health refill things, so perhaps that would have helped keep me alive longer.
Well done, great game.
Really digging the Nier Automata-style "hacking" minigames in this! I just wish everything (the blue bar filling, the transition to and from the micro-zones) was a tick faster, to keep the high-energy gameplay going! It feels a bit clunky, but I'd love to see more.
Never played Nier Automata before but it looks pretty cool. Thanks for the feedback!
