The 3d art style and looks are great! Wish there was a bit more of a close up of the camera in the main game to see some more of the models!
I ran into the same issues as some other people with WASD not working correctly but the arrows were fine.
Good job!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback ! Our 3d artist is really glad you appreciated our visual !

This was pretty good. The art and music was good, but I could not figure out the controls. I tried WASD and D moved me down, and I was very confused.

Developer (1 edit)

That is weird. The controls are either WASD directionnal arrows or controller. Glad you enjoyed some of it at least!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback ! That's strange you're the first one who had this problem, but arrows and controller were working too (controls were in description)

The game was really exciting! The music kept you going and the different scenarios with the platform moving wow, that was really cool! great game overall!

It is true the difficulty was a bit steep at the beginning, maybe a small tutorial level with easier patterns would have made it easier to get into, and some of the visual feedback some others have mentioned, aside from that solid!

Developer

Thanks for the feedbacks. Visual Clarity and better management of the difficulty curve are definitly things we will try to manage better in future projects!

Fun game! It was hard to tell where the player was at times, but other than that, you did a good job!!! I really liked the look of the bullets especially - I'm a sucker for nonstandard bullet designs!!!!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much ! Ye, définitly there is a big problem about the character lisibility

I loved the lighting and color work, and the art overall. The SFX are also very good sounding! The music is very catchy, and the gameplay is solid. Yeah pretty good entry :)

Developer

Thank you so much, we really appreciated it !!!

I really liked how consistent the art was, wish it was more clear where the payer was as he was quite small.

The music and SFX were pleasing and complimented the whole thing rather nicely.

I love the patterns and the boat moving mechanic.

I wish there was some more clarity about getting hit and that the bullets hitbox was a little smaller (so its more forgiving to the player)

Dodge/Movement focus games are always appreciated, really liked the visuals and the game itself is very fun! i would like a way to maybe make the player character more highlighted? but it also being very tiny helps with the precise movement the game requires, so i don't really know how to do that haha. Anyone, a great game overall! Good job

Developer

Thank you so much for your feedback, it is really appreciated ! I do agree about the character visualisation, i do think it is sometimes hard to telle exactly where je is ahahah

the game is fun, its graphics are beautiful, but I thought the camera should be closer to our character, by the way, there aren't many different mechanics in it, just dodging bullets gets kind of boring after a while

Developer

Thank you for your feedback ! That was our goal to aim for something simple with only dodging based mechanics, and develop furthermore the plateform mechanics, but I can understand what bothered you.

Really engaging concept for the theme, and the visuals are great. Control is a bit floaty, feels like there's slightly too much lag starting moving and then a bit of inertia when you stop too, makes it a bit frustrating trying to make precise dodges. But that doesn't take much away from the fun of the game, and the challenge. A test of patience and planning as much as clutch-dodges and reaction times. Lovely game, well done.

Developer

Thank you so much ! We're grateful for your feedback !

This was surprisingly super engaging with a simple but great take on the theme.

The good:

The game gets going in level 2 when the 'laser' attacks come into play and they actually was surprisingly welcoming as I remember being quite surprised when they appeared.

Being able to move a small platform is a great take on the theme and adds a lot to the strategy of the general bullet hell (and also becomes the cornerpiece of gameplay in level 3).

To improve:

I would love if the character has less (or even no) inertia in their movement. Bullet hell games require a high level of precision and control over the player avatar. If it takes a long time to move a character to max speed, it is hard to control them.

Surprisingly fun!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for this precise feedback ! We are also very proud about our laser attacks, so we're really grateful that you mentionned it. I agree with you about the inerty, need to calm it down

Very cool and highly replayable (and diificult lol). I really liked the many varied bullet patterns

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Did you manage to  get the 4 pillars down in the third level?

Submitted

No I did not actually ^^"

Developer

thank you so much, really appreciated !

super cool game! oh my god it was hard tho grbhgbr i didnt get past level 1, still attempted level 2 and 3 but still a nice experience

Developer(+1)

We went quite hard on the difficulty haha. Glad you enjoyed the game!

Very interesting concept. I like that I could move the arena and the bullet patterns were quite nice. Perfect speed. Very pretty as well. Great work!

One suggestion would be to use conventional zip folders and seeing as you used unity, try getting it working WebGL, its quite easy and far more approachable.

Developer

Thank you so much, it is really appreciated ! We indeed tried to use WebGL, but for an obscure reason it didn't worked out, every scene were bugged and unusable, so we just uploaded the .rar

Ah! I'm sorry to hear that, still a fantastic project!
