Absolute stunner visually! The acceleration / deceleration made me run into the bullets a bit much, but maybe i just have to get used to the controls

The visuals are nice and also the gameplay is really fun and punishing. great take reminds me a bit of ikaruga!
Very interesting idea, the one problem I had with it was more of the game play was about trying to get hit rather than trying to dodge the bullets, but still not bad, I'm glad I was able to play with keyboard too. Otherwise the visuals are great, so are the sound effects and music. Nice job
Hey HollowWolf!
Thank you so much for your feedback and for playing the game!
Yes, I think you're right, maybe I should have, in some way, rewarded dodging more than getting hit (while still maintaining the karma mechanic).
I'm sorry that you tried it with the keyboard, unfortunately with the keyboard it is not possible to make the characters shoot, therefore you could not kill the enemies or increase/balance the enemies in the portals.
I had tried to implement all the commands with the keyboard but it was really too inconvenient. Precisely for this reason I had decided that the game would only be supported with analogue gamepads.
Thanks again for your feedback, I really appreciated it!
I love this one! It really changes up the bullet-hell formula. At first I was trying to dodge and felt totally overwhelmed but then realized that getting hit is part of the gameplay. That made it so much more interesting. I also think it's visually appealing and the audio fits in very well
Cool concept with controlling 2 ships, at the start it's a bit tricky but it's good.
Very nice visuals, sfx and music!
Enjoyable gameplay, i think it's very solid work. Great job!
I really liked the concept of this game, especially how well it aligns with the theme of the jam. However, I found the gameplay itself to be a bit too easy. While it's enjoyable and well-executed, adding a bit more challenge would make it even more engaging. Overall, it's a solid entry with a fantastic concept that just needs a little tweak in difficulty to reach its full potential. Great job!
Hey odiurd, thanks for your feedback and for playing the game!
I think you're right, once you understand that getting hit is part of balancing karma, it's pretty easy to balance it out.
In theory there should have been a final boss at the end of time, but due to lack of time I wasn't able to implement it :(
Thanks again for your feedback!
Nice job! I love the concept you have! It's the one that best fits the theme, in my opinion! Controlling two players at once can be a bit confusing sometimes, but the game is pretty fun nonetheless!
The world is in karmic balance !
The game makes a very cool use of the theme, and it's super fun, my favourite part is trying to get hit on purpose on one side to balance a terrible state on the other side where you can't reasonably think you can manage not to get hit. Trying to get hit on purpose is sometimes harder said than done. The game looks and sounds fine, it's obviously not easy to control and is not meant to be, controlling two sides at once is hard and it's fine this way. Finally the difficulty is perfect for my taste, now that I got the hang of it I can win but definitely don't win all the time.
That's a super cool game, thanks for sharing.
