Really like the look of the enemies, environment and HUD. The RPS system works well but as a general rule I find RPS is far too likely to cheese my onions. Who uses rock 4 times in a row? I ask you, honestly. That skull faced jerk better watch his back next time I'm in the saloon.
So yeah, while I had the occasional burst blood vessel, good job :)
Thanks! Yeah something i wanna work on the post jam update is on "balancing" the RNG of the enemies haha, sometimes its kinda weird how they react. But your feedback is much appreciated! c:
I really liked the graphics and general vibe of this, and the music was very chill! It was fun to just walk around in the world and shoot some sombrero skeletons.
I didn't quite the the balancing or strategy of the combat - the gun and having to conserve ammo was a very nice idea, but I ended up just using the gun and generally had enough ammo as long as I was fairly decent at hitting the critical shots. Never been much of a fan of Rock Paper Scissors in games since back with the original Alex Kidd bosses though, so when there was a gun alternative I'd just use that...
I got lost in the cantina in the Lost in the Cantina mission in the end ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thanks for your feedback, i will work to fix some bugs for the post jam update and to balance how the enemies work! Again thank you for your feedback :D
This was a very relaxing play through despite desperadoes trying to kill me lol. I got an unintentional view of the void beyond the world sometimes when I moved alongside a wall, but it's a minor gripe. Loved the art style and music.
Original and enjoyable, but the main view feels very buggy and some combat music would be nice.
I really enjoyed this - the combination of a rhythm game with rock paper scissors was unique and the style was pulled off really well. Had a couple of graphical glitches my end, but considering what you managed to pull off this was impressive. Feels very complete!
A unique blend of elements, I like it.
I enjoyed this game. Looks great with nice feedback. Audio really fits the theme. I felt that rock paper scissors gun was quite unique for the genre. Bugs in combat though, one is that you can spam revolver and hammer out crits. I actually enjoyed that though, is it a feature/bug? :)
Great title animation and style. I'd love to see a volume slider! Great idea for a combat system, and really good player feedback for attacks. The music choice is good and fits the game, but it might have been nice to have a combat theme also. It's cool that there is a variety of environments. You've even got a level selector! Wow, you've got a very complete feeling experience. There are some glitches with the combat and input, but given the ambitiousness I think I can forgive that.
i liked the grainy film effect, the sepia tone, and the audio. it was a bit on the glitchy side for me. it was weird that it took 2 minigames to make a hit, tho.
I like this combination of paper scissor rock and RPG and wild west! Very unique, I like that the opponent smile at me when there is a draw, feel like we have a kind of tacit understanding haha.
I'm not sure if it's a bug or I missed anything, I can't find a way to refill my hp, and the opponent in the first mission is so op that they lose no hp when I hit them, even with a critical attack.
Overall the game feels so great!
Thanks for the feedback! We will work hard on a post jam update to fix all this issues C:
Very nice game! The player character emoting entirely through their hand is especially funny!
The visual is really nice :D I like it, dungeon crawler with the wild-west theme plus chill music, what a strange combination!!
really like this :)
