I love it but I think it's unfinished.

(From what I know it probably is, I don't mean this in any offense)

But great game.

Developer(+2)

Yeah, sadly it's unfinished and no offence taken! We just didn't have enough time between us to get it playable.  Thanks for the feedback, and we'll try to work more on it where possible :D

I feel so bad about having to dock points due to the game not functioning correctly. The game concept is clever. Great use of theme. Beautiful art.

Developer

Thanks for the play! We wish we had time to do more with it and we have plans to grow and expand the game as well so if you like it feel free to check back soon and we might have some more progress!

I didn't have any friend to play with, but I took a look at the manual and the game separately. I like the  art and atmosphere, it's a nice concept! That last rush to submit your game must have been truly epic, seeing that you submitted it 11 seconds before the dealine 😅 I can see a lot of work got put into this congrats!

Developer

Yeah the rush was a bit crazy! Nimphu was the one that clicked submit, I knew we were close but I didn't realize it was that close! lol

I played with a friend, and the guide is so cute. The concept is very original and the art is excellent. Sometimes the logic doesn't work and that ruin the experience a little bit,but i liked it. Well done

Developer(+1)

Really appreciate you trying the game out, especially with a friend! Unfortunately, I don't think that any of the logic works actually, at the moment it's kind of just luck if it matches up with the guide. We sadly didn't get time to finish, but all the positive feedback makes us want to actually get it finished now :D Thanks for playing anyway!

I cant tell what what Im supposed to do

Developer(+1)

It's a 2 player game where 1 player reads the flowchart and the other describes the thing in front of them, didn't have time for a tutorial but the description summarizes it pretty well

Submitted(+2)

Too bad you couldn't finish the game. the idea has potential, still great job!

Developer(+2)

Thanks <3 we plan to develop on it a bit more

Submitted

I invite you to try our game, I would like to know your opinion too, thanks!

Submitted(+2)

I sadly did not quiet understand how the game worked :( but it does look very interesting and i would like to replay after the game jam ended to see how you guys finished it :)

Developer(+1)

thanks, we plan to continue after a short break, the jam wore us down a bit <3 also the instructions are in the description (2 player game)

Developer(+1)

It doesn't quite work which probably adds to the confusion, but the idea is that one player will read from the manual and the other will have the game open. The player with the game would describe what they see to their partner, and the player with the manual would then deduce whether or not the item on the screen is "safe to eat" or not! We hope to get it working at some point :D

Submitted(+1)

That sounds like a lot of fun :D  ,  i just don't have someone to play with rn :(

Developer(+1)

We'll try and get it to a playable stage, and then maybe start up a discord server for it :

Hi! I love the fact that y’all made a 2player game :0

It did take me like a hot minute to realize the manual was in the download area (and that there even was one) so I wished there was some sort of mini tutorial or instructions on screen before the game starts to make sure to download the manual. If y’all had more time or go back and polish this, I’d love to see more color in the manual too since I’m a very visual person and it’d make it interesting for the player on the manual side of the game :)

Very cute overall <3

Developer(+2)

"Guide" just really reminded me of the bomb game so I wanted to make something like that :D
Thank you for the valuable feedback, the question mark in the main menu was going to lead to a help screen (we didn't get around to implementing it) but I do think a compulsory tutorial showing once would also be beneficial.
I'll take note on your comment about the manual, it will definitely have more sparkle and character in the final product! Thanks for trying our game out <3

I really like the concept, and I really wish you had a chance of finishing the game - I’d love to try a fully working version of this!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the kind feedback, we hope to develop the project further!

Submitted(+2)

Very cute, unfortunate that you didn't finish ):

Developer(+1)

Yeah it's a shame, but we did what we could with the time we had. Thanks for playing!

First impression, cute intro screen and music is a little trippy. The question mark button was a little confusing because it did nothing and the exit button crashed the game (guess that makes sense) Fun cut scene. I couldn't access the pdf on firefox, but able to on chrome.
I played it with my partner, very fun, but there was no endgame as far as we could tell. It was a little confusing what "pointy" really entailed, as we didn't feel like we got any feedback on whether or not we made the correct assumption to eat the flower/frog. There was some indicator doing something, but we weren't too sure whether we wanted it to go down, or to stay up.
And before we knew it, we were out of time! (But still letting us eat alien frogs and flowers).

Great work :)

Developer(+2)

Thanks for the in-depth feedback! The plan was to have a game over screen with stats after the end, but unfortunately we never got to that point. Lots of other valuable pointers that we didn't pick up on because it didn't get to a point where we could playtest, but really glad you enjoyed our game! :)
