Actually is quite a fun little game, I did struggle at firs to figure out how to make the ball move, had some dramatic moments where It wouldn't go up a ramp and then unfortunately my ball got stuck and hurt my ears but its fine I will recover. Fun game!

The game was fun and the fact I didn't have to charge my shot through a timing mini game or something similar is something I really like as it means I could be more precise and be happy with the shots I'm taking. Although there are glitches it doesn't stop it from being a fun time, my only suggestions are to add in the other map in the level that you can see but other than that I wouldn't make any more improvements, good job

Ah yes the golf and the logo that took you 12 years to make.
Online version the camera is still non functional, explanation of how to switch between camera and mouse would of been great, the usage of "P". Though if only the engine was fixed and the 2nd level was playable.  Could of been super great.

This game is cute and very enjoyable, obviously there's some physics issues but the other comments have gone into that enough i think. I wish there were more levels but for the timeframe you worked under, it was really good

I'm unsure whether this is an issue with the web build but I found rotating the camera to aim at your destination a bit annoying and tedious, I would suggest fixing camera controls for next time, and also if you want to not clip on the edge you might want to utilise invisible barriers. How long did the velocity bar take?

Developer

Web build just kind of broken. Press P key on chrome to fix the camera if its broken.

And I spent a few hours on the charge bar.

I found that I could not win the game after shooting the ball in the hold.
Is that intended and I had to wait or is it a bug?

Developer

I just didn’t implement it yet :(

The ball would get stuck or bugged alot sometimes having a mind of its own. Its has potential of being good game. I made it to the hole and was it bit sad that couldn't play the other bit of the map. It is quite fun though but had to restart a lot.

Like the idea and how well it works with one button.

Just it does not work in chrome.

Past some of the mechanical problems the game is very fun and has a lot of potential, don't worry its understandable for the game to have some problems with the time constraint (ours did lol).

Seems like a solid idea, but I couldn't progress past the first hole. Some collisions were also weird as i bounced off of slopes and had to reset after landing on the red border. I did like the level design though.

The level design is interesting, although I found myself clipping into the walls at times making me unable to progress. Despite this, the game has a charming and simplistic art style which is relatively easy to read, although I think at times (especially when the depth changes), it would be nice if there was more variety in textures to help with visual clarity.

Everything aside, the only complaint I have is that the camera is quite difficult to control as the mouse moves all over the screen, this also makes hitting the ball more difficult as you have to consider the amount of mouse space you have left on the screen, which creates an unneeded amount of difficulty and ends up being more tedious and seems like an unplanned consequence due to the game design.

Overall the game was very enjoyable if you are able to look past the issues, all of which I believe could've been fixed with a couple more days in development.

7/10 - Ashe L.

I like the art style and the gameplay works very well, however I had an issue that the hole on the first course wouldn't register, so I couldn't advance. However the gameplay was solid an it looked good!

The level design is impressive and the caliber of making -any- 3d game is impressive given the short time span. It reminds me of those Mario Galaxy levels but there are a few QoL updates I would add - I got stuck requiring a hard quit, and it wouldn't let me move even at very low speeds. It's still really fun though! :)

the level design is really good with different holes all being unique to each other.  However I came across a couple of issues that spoiled the game for me. first was the camera, it couldn't rotate all the way round so I was always facing the wrong way at the start of the hole and would need about 4 shots still I was able to actually go in the right direction to the hole. second was that when I completed the first hole. it wouldn't transition to the next hole. so I was just stuck unable to play anymore.

Thanks for the feedback!

The camera is a little broken in the browser, so it’s better to download it.
