I loved the gorgeous art style and the mellow music. Gameplay is smooth and smart concept. Relaxing to play.

The art style is so pretty and charming and I love the concept.
I love this art style and combo system is an good idea
I love the art! I could see this working really well as a mobile game.
Awesome art and gameplay! It's very relaxing to play, and I really like this game.
The art style was amazing and I loved how polished the game was. The combat was really well made, and the opportunity to chose upgrades was a great choice.
Thank you for playing, glad you enjoyed it!
I'm absolutely in love with the art style. Game mechanics are straight forward. I had trouble with reading the font, having the lowercase and uppercase mixed was distracting. I'm also curious why you have "quit" as the first button on the main menu. Overall fun game.
Thank you for playing!
I can understand the issues with the font, we struggled a bit with it since it was made for the game, guess it could do with even more improvements. Quit is on the top because the artist originally drew the title screen as it is now, with the smallest button on top. I didn't want to ask her to redraw it or mix up the placements from her intended way so to make it make more sense I put quit on the smallest button, albeit the topmost one. But yeah, was debating whether to do something about that as well, thank you for the feedback :)
Only one word: WOW. The graphics is something very special and I loved the gameplay mechanics. This is a little piece of art! Bravo!
Thank you for the kind words!
It's a fun little game that I enjoyed playing till the end.
The art is absolutely charming. I can see a lot of animation going on at any given time, making the scene feel much more alive when I'm thinking about my moves. Moving the screen according to mouse position is also a nice little polish. The game mechanics and actions are well thought out and made me rethink my solution after every turn. Together with the randomness of available actions, there really isn't one reliable winning strategy for every turn.
One main issue I have is that while the actions are being executed. It can be hard to track what's going on since 3 things are happens at once (player animation, enemy animation, actions bubble puffing) and they are all happening at different part of the screen. The font can also be a unnecessarily hard to read when it is a mix of upper and lower case letters. I found a bug when fighting the witch. When the opponent have 'deal 2 dmg' in a streak, I have 'parry' in a streak, the parry only works for the first action.
Still, it is a nice game worth playing. Great job on it!
Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
That's a good point that because of a lot of things moving at once when executing the actions it might be hard to read what's happening. Can I ask on which version of the game you found the bug? Did you play the post jam one or the jam one?
Graphics are very beautiful! However gameplay-wise i found the combat system was hard to maneuver (i couldn't mirror the reflect spell for some reason) and signs & feedbacks were hard to read. It is a bit sad as the concept was very interesting!
Thank you for playing and for leaving feedback! Yup, you're right since yesterday I've watched someone play it and there are quite a bit of places where more signs and explanation is needed. And the mirror has a bug which makes it incorrectly mirror the effect of certain actions. Unlucky that you played and noticed it right before I was gonna add a post jam version with some fixes including that one, but what can you do :)
Graphics are over the top: Solid color choices, a unique blend of hand drawn lines and pixelated textures and an overall beautiful aesthetics - fantastic job! Instantly added your game to my Collectio of "Best hand-drawn games".
Thank you for the kinds words! I'll let the artist know her work was appreciated :)
We loved the game. The concept of the story is quite interesting and the visuals are amazing. Nevertheless, the music becomes a little repetitive after a while. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for playing and your feedback!
I loved the visuals. Felt like I was playing in a fairy tale story. Very creative and unique. I don't have any complaints, it was a wonderful experience!
Thank you for the kind words, glad you enjoyed it :)
Excellent painting style
Wow, this game is super stylish. I'm enjoying playing it. The overal game is really balanced to feel like a whole thing too. Great job!
Check mine if you have a minute too ^^
Thank you for playing! Of course, I'll give your game try :)
Love the art in this, think it would go great with some sound design! also gameplay was fun once I picked it up, very cool!
Thank you for playing! Yeah, planned on adding sfx but didn't have time for them, will hopefully add them in a later version.
Love the art and the game play. Only issue - it was hard for me to tell which actions lined up with which when the knight and enemy had a different amount to do in a turn.
That's a very good point, I specifically made it so that when that happens the actions line up vertically but I guess I didn't really explain what happens when there are different number of actions... Thanks for playing and for the useful feedback!
It's gorgeous and hilarious too! Good job sir!
Thank you for playing!
