Somewhat ironic for game inspired by music scales to have no sound. Then again if was playing every sequence of notes typed it might get unplesent at some times :) or you could play sound on only correct notes.

Very well on theme.
At first I thought it was just like Mastermind where any note could be in any order at any position. After finishing the first puzzle and seeing the name of the scale I saw the pattern. That made the puzzle afterwards way too easy since as soon as you have one note in place the others are easily deducable.

My method was as follows (see screenshot):
Guess all A's on the first try, giving me a starting point.
Then guessing ABCDEFG with A in the right spot we got in step 1.
After that we just need to fill in the missing notes with the sharp/half(?) notes.

Unless there is a scale that does not contain A I think you can get the correct solution every time in just 3 steps :)

One of the better games in the theme department for sure !

The idea is impressive! I really like how you managed to combine such a popular game with a "ladder." Truly excellent work! I believe it could have benefited from more visual and sound effects, but still good.

this was a lot of fun! my only note is that it's a little too easy (even though i know nothing about music). including more note options or decreasing the amount of notes you could guess might help with this?

great idea but kind to sad that there is no sound.

Love the idea!  As everyone else said, would be so much better with sound! Great job reproducing the wordle interface.

Wow! I think I actually kinda understand now what a scale is. Would be amazin gif you could listen to it at the end, to further help you learn the concept!

This game has the most creative theme interpretation that I have seen in the jam so far. Congratulations! :)

The idea is very unique, you have use the theme in a good way. If there would be like sounds for the chords we enter, it would make it more enjoyable.

Very interesting game concept! Will there be an iOS app version coming soon?

Great idea. Sounds would have made the game much better.

Wow! What a great idea. As others mentioned, the missing sounds are hurting the game in this case.

Unfortunately, I’m not an expert on musical scales, so I was just trying to brute force the answer. :D

It took me all the guesses to finish even the first one rofl it's a really awesome idea! Wish there were sound feedback for clicking on the keys! I also love it when you actually name the scale <3

Very nice, I like it

Really cool idea! However, it would be a lot better with sound. Unfortunately, I'm not musically talented enough to beat it though

Cool idea! I think a bit of sound would have added a lot. Either as a hint guessing or just when I click on the keys. But otherwise very good.
