A platformer with time traveling. There are only two levels and they are not too hard.

The relation to the theme is unclear. I have never heard about time scaling before, but I guess you refer to time travelling.

Please reduce the dialogues. Having a story is important, but maybe you can tell the story with less text.

Clearly a lot of work went into the graphics, but perhaps less on the level design. With some more levels this could be great!

Rating no. 21

Here's the list of stuff to fix/improve in:
- Level complete text is broken (I assume because of a bad font)
- Camera movement is way too snappy for no reason but I see what you were trying to do (camera look ahead it's not necessary here because it's not a fast platformer, you could just zoom the camera out more instead)
- Player movement is glitchy, you can basically fly if you keep hitting your head at the ceiling. It's basic but I guess that's fine for a game like this.
- Add a way to skip text.
- Never make long monologues that you need to scroll to see the entirety of, nobody will actually read it; at least split them up into smaller chunks so they fit the textbox.
- Stop using the unity default font, even if it's not that, use something that's more stylized and fits the game more; you can find a lot of free fonts on dafont.com or google fonts
- The player animations are really weird, especially the jump one which looks like an idle animation.

I really liked the dynamic lighting/shadows with the 2D art, super cool. There is a bug where if you jump and then jump again off some surfaces you go really high into the air, but great job.

Nearly got stuck on the slippy ramp, other than that nice artwork and the puzzles worked well!

Good graphics, especially the shadows! I tried several times, but unfortunately the game freezes after you open the first door with the key

Developer

thanks for playing! Yes, that is a known bug. Have you tried playing without going full screen? We are planning to fix the bugs after the voting period is over.

Oh yes, that's how it works! Cool, I remember seeing such a time scaling mechanic in Dishonored 2, I thought then that it would be nice to make a whole game using this mechanic :)

Will do! :)

I like the art in this game! The world seems interesting as well. Like others I couldn't get past the second door with the key. Very cool though. Curious where the story will go.

The art was great.  I liked the out of focus foreground pillars.  I felt the movement mechanics could use some improvement.  Also the game seemed to get stuck when I used the key to open a door.  The screen darkened and nothing happened.  Aside from that it seems promising and you're off to a great start.

I like the main character design, it's very inspired and stands out. The time travel mechanic was cool too. What really stood out to me though was that you added a story which I think is important.
For negatives: The level complete text looked like a bunch of dots on the screen and I couldn't get past the third level even though I reached the door with the key.

Wow, this is a gorgeous game. I think that it can turn out to be a great game. I couldn't pass the door from the second level, I don't know if the game finished there or if it is a bug. In regards of gameplay, I think that there's room for improvement on the jump mechanic, it felt a little uncomfortable. Another cool addition would be some sound effects. Overall, great game!

It is really nice and I liked the music and the puzzle. It would be a really good game, when it has a full version.

I hope you can fix some of the bugs because I would really like to play through this one! The game looks super promising. I love the soothing music, the hand-drawn graphics are plain gorgeous, and the characters look captivating. I tried to play through it twice but got stuck at the door where the key wouldn't work, although I would keep pressing F. What I have seen so far is really fantastic, hope to see the rest!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback Gad! Yess unfortunately there is a bug on the second level door. We will update the game once the rating period is over.

Beautiful beautiful artwork, lovely music, and well-written dialogue. But I kept sliding down the slope right at the beginning and had to restart many times ;-; Kudos to the team, amazing work here <3

Developer

Heyy Charlotte, thanks for the feedback! We made the slope to be slippery, but we have received the same input from other players. Maybe we will change the platform design.

Interesting platformer to try.  I hit a point where F wouldn't allow me to go through a door and I couldn't figure out why.  The door would open but I couldn't go through.  In any case, it's an enjoyable atmosphere and the music is nice.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Yess sadly there are still some bugs left :(

I will fix it later.
