I really liked the game, it would be better to have a tutorial intead of the text in the start but I understad that time was short, so great work I really love the game.

Incredible game! I like how it progresses, and you have to notice tasks

Submitted(+1)

Nice one, good test to know your ability to multitask xD

Submitted(+1)

Nice game. It feels complete. It's fun, but apparently I am bad at multitasking :)

Developer

Aren't we all :P Thanks!

This is so original and good design for this theme. You just have to learn the mechanics but after that, it is really fun. The only downside is the graphics (I suck at graphics too that's why I'm using external assets Hahaha). Great job! :)

Developer

Thank you for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it, it is a shame the graphics aren't the best but neither of us are good at art :p

Once I knew what I was doing the game was funny and quite a challenging ride. Loved it!

This game was a lot of fun! The initial tutorial interface left a little to be desired, but it didn't take long to pick up what I was supposed to do. The gameplay was fantastic! The ramp up in difficulty was perfect and the variety of cues you had to listen/look for were diverse and really kept you on your toes.

The best I could get was 57,654 - the maths was definitely my weak point. 🤦‍♂️
Really great entry!

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I think the game mechanics are developed well and I think if you spend a little more time making the graphics even better, this would be a total win for me! it was very very fun!

Hi! I'll be playing Power Plant Peril tomorrow on stream along with several others games from the jam at 3:30pm EST. I'll be talking about any interesting design decisions as I play, and suggesting improvements if any come to mind. Please feel free to join me live, it'll be extra fun to chat together about your game while playing it :)

Here's the segment where I played your game! As I mentioned in the stream I'm really impressed with this great little game you guys made, and you definitely chose a soundtrack which enhanced the experience. This timing and difficulty level of the tasks is great for keeping players busy, if a bit overwhelmed, making the game tense but exciting. It makes sense that more reactor instability leads to more tasks, but at the same time that causes players to spiral out of control more quickly whenever they start to fall behind. Perhaps it would make sense to instead have tasks appear faster the higher your score? Anyway, very well done, and thanks so much for joining me in the stream! :D

Ahahahah really fun and original game but so messy

Developer(+1)

It's true the graphics aren't the best xd. Thank you for playing!

Submitted(+1)

Wow, such a great idea for the theme! I liked the funny questions and answers, although I there was no time to read them, because I had to answer math questions :(

Developer

maths IS hard! I'm glad you enjoyed it though :)

This was a blast to play! I have the dumbest smile on my face right now! Excellent work! Only thing i can say negative would be the graphics, but hey... its a jam game! (plus it at least has graphics for everything, unlike mine....lol)

Developer(+1)

Finally! Someone has come to their senses! YES! The graphics are horrible!

Really glad you enjoyed it , thanks for the kind words :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for your feedback, It is a shame that my friend and I both suck at art but at least you still enjoyed playing it :)

go look at mine dude! The only good art is the asset I used for the character! Check out Penusbmic. They have some great assets available.

Developer

I'll check it out now!

Your game is cool!

Developer

Thank you :)

Man very original, everything was great. Only one thing, in your tutorial show UI one by one. It's impossible to read with that info on screen. Otherwise it stands out. Great!

Developer(+1)

Funny thing is, someone who we had do some play testing said exactly the same thing! There was plans to , but time came up short in the end, unfortunately. Thank's for the feedback, though.

No problem. The gameplay was kinda self explanatory, after the third time I learnt everything and I barely even looked at the tutorial

Submitted(+1)

Liked it a lot, the gameis really well put together but the tutorial has way too much text, the music really didnt fit the tutorial, but the rest is really good and the text in the console is reaaalllyy ewayy too small, but very good and fun game overall

Submitted(+2)

Had a lot going on on the screen was difficult to see where to press things but i like the multiple tasks kind of thing and the Audio was great, The visuals had the old MS Paint charm keep it up :)

Bit confusing at times, but fun

Developer(+1)

Do you have any feedback on how we could've made it less confusing?

Submitted(+1)

Really fun and challenging game fits good to the theme of the  jam

Nice game, well done :) I don't really have anything negative to say about it. Loved it! I really liked the visuals well worth the 5 stars :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed our game as we put a lot of effort into it :)

Developer(+1)

Visuals? Now that's a suprise, Microsoft paint really coming through. Thanks !
