After playing through all the games in the jam, I've made a post on some of my favorites and included your game! Check it out here.
Played this on stream. Check out the vod here for my thoughts. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1007516720?t=01h43m02s . Unfortunately, the stream cut out part way through without me realizing it, but you can see the rest of my playthrough here https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1007655980
Yay, I found a glitch in the game :-D
When you place a mirror, rotate it, but not fix it into position - than reset the level, the mirror is still configurable. In other words, hitting the X will grant you another mirror for that level :-)
I love the artwork and music! So chill <3
Really fun puzzle game, some really good brain teases in there. Getting used to predicting the reflections took some time for me, but it was pretty intuitive once I wrapped my head around it. Would love to see more puzzles/mechanics added to this game.
Love that graphics, probably the most elaborated in the whole gamejam. I wish I could create graphics like this. What did you use to draw that?
As a suggestion, it would be great to add some feedback sounds, like clicking buttons etc. Also, to make the wierdo moves a little bit more lively I would suggest to try spring animations
Anyway, this is one of the most polished game in this jam
Great graphics and great gameplay :) It the little details in the presentation and polish (like minor animations and a tutorial) really made game like this stand out.
Excellent presentation, with a nice twist on the Deflektor genre. Had a bug where it froze after level 3, and the sequence once you press play could be quicker, but nice work.
Never knew I needed Steampunk Cat Scientists till now! I loved the puzzle design, maybe the creatures are made out of photons so that's why they bounce? I would have liked if there was a skip animation button, for when you've only made a small mirror angle mistake and don't want to watch the whole thing again. And of course, the background music slaps. Good job on this one!
