Superb little 2d game.
Indeed not all that glistens is pudding. That’s too bad!
But it put a smile on my face. Good job!
Appreciate the kind words!
Love the animations and the sounds effects when you destroy something, great submision
Haha, quirky and fun. I think it might have been better as a true platformer without the shooting, but anyway, it seemed like a technically good effort, no discernible bugs, and quite simple in its execution. I think what could be improved is the shooting (maybe the mouse only changes the pitch of the gun up or down and doesn't change direction - only facing where the player is facing, the gun pointing backwards at you didn't quite look right).
Very cool game. I love the simple controls and it takes just a few seconds to understand how to play. I like the risk/reward of either getting more "ammo" or more enemies from the crates. It all felt very natural and the movement was smooth.

Nice gameplay. the aim was very precise I liked!
Good game! Love the gun rotation!!
I slew 21 pudding imposters before they did to me what I do to pudding.
Nice, simple idea and cleanly executed. That means so much in a jam, well done! The controls felt a tiny off as walking over the hill on the right seemed to get stuck unless you hit it at the right speed or jumped, but otherwise it felt good. The rotating gun was a nice touch, and I chuckled when it went upside down when pointing backwards. Mr Pudding got skills!
Overall, great job! Enjoyed!
Simple, but nice. The esthetic is well done. I'm not completely sure how it fits the theme tho, could you explain your take on it?
Haha ya it's a bit of a stretch, but the idea was that some boxes have enemies and some have "gold" pudding. Nothing more than that XD
Pretty cool looking game!
I also agree with all things that were noticed, more mechanics and etc. But, visuals and audio are great! Keep up the good work!
You got the game mechanics just perfect! The only thing needed now is expansion., i.e. longer stage or even more stages.
Love the art style, simple to play... super hard to master!
I agree with all that has been said below, more levels, power ups etc.
Maybe lock the gun rotation a little so it is on like a 270 arc left to right, seems a little "lose" to me, but that is just my take on it :)
Ya I didn't spend much time trying to get the gun right but I agree! Thanks for checking it out :D
I loved the splat sound :D
Nice Work! The art is very nice!
Controls well. Sounds good too.
Impressive!
Nicely done.
Biggest issue is the movement feels a little sluggish, and both the character and enemies get caught on random bits of terrain.
Overall I enjoyed it and has lots of room to expand upon
Nice! I think it's a good idea to keep refining and expanding after the game jam. All the game needs is some power ups and some way to show the player that he is progressing, maybe dividing enemies by hordes will work.
Thanks! I do think the game would be decently fun with a couple power ups to make the gun do different effects and all that. Thanks for checking it out!
Cool game with great visuals! Agree with the other comments that it could use some powerups/levels or something as over time the stuff start to pile up.
Nice game! Managed to take down 37 of the pink slimes before things got a bit out of control and my attempts to reload my pudding cannon by crowd surfing the boxes didn't quite play out.
I'd echo the power-up idea - I wanted to add upgrades in my game but obviously time on this one was pretty tight!
I agree with the comment below, Sound and Art are great, and even better that they're your own, I would love to see a power-up or two.
Absolutely love the art style and the vibe. I had a "Wow" moment when it first started.
I think it could do with a highscore table, multiple levels and powerups.
I'd like to see this expanded on.
