Love to story! the art is great, There is no quest :( I was looking for it, then go checked the comments for some hints and I was disappointed seeing that there is nothing more :(
I like the art and dialogue, is there a quest as I couldn't find it? would have been good if you were less restricted walking around though when looking for the quest it was annoying having to stick to the path.
We didn't have time to add the last quest) Sorry for bad collisions( Thanks for feedback!
Is there a quest? :P
Pretty fun idea, that you can develop into something big.
If you have the time, can you rate my game, please? :)
No more quest) Sorry for "find quest" str) We try to rate as much as we can and ofc will rate yours! Thanks for feedback!
I thought this game was pretty fun and my favourite part was the cheeky dialogue. As a few other people mentioned I think if you sped up the movement and changed the colliders the game would've felt smoother. Also I spent about 5 minutes looking for a quest at the end lol.
All in all your team did a great job in the time we had, well done! :D
The music is so pleasant and calming, so is the artwork. This game is also relatable to me in many ways.

Nice theme and concept, the art was very nice. I would have liked to see changes in my character visuals as I acquired body parts, especially the curly hair!
The movement was frustrating though, I get that you're a zombie but not being able to go between the graves, especially when the other zombies could, made the game less enjoyable than it could have been.
I did look for another quest after finding a brain but from reading other comments, I assume there wasn't one?
There was quite an issue of sprites overlapping incorrectly
Сhanging parts of the body were in the idea. But at the end of the jam, we had only separately working pieces ready, and we decided that the MVP would be in the quest and quickly assembled it from what was already ready. Of course, it turned out very badly with the collider( We noticed it after we uploaded the game to jam
Theme was good. loved the skull banter and the art was great. the colliding and speed could use some refining but i know how things go with time restraints. Good job overall!
Arrow to the knee, cracked me up 🤣😂 Loved the Skyrim reference. Great job overall. Theme spot on, cool music, neat visuals, and the best thing - the spider's insults. 😂
looks aawsome, sound awsome, nice dialog, some awsome quates that make me giggle :) But yea colliding was little frustrating. I was really trying to find the start of the quest "Find the next quest" GJ overall
Great visuals, catchy music. It was a cool point and click, would love a puzzle or two or some simple riddles/dialogue choices. Overall this feels like a great start that you could build an extra level or two after the jam!
I like the artwork and the music. That is some nice vibe. The music matched the game pace. Would be nice if the character would move faster after gathering legs as the movement speed gets tedious in the long run.
I like the look. It feels very slow moving around (may be increase the speed little bit more)? Also, one of the grave's dialogue is in Russian?
Played and rated.
Overall I like the story and the mechanics were fun. However the movement speed makes the game pace very slow and boring.
Great cover artwork also!
Would appreciate if you check out and rate our game as well: https://hadilepanda.itch.io/rise-of-necromancy
Thank you for the submission. I like the story parts in the different graves.
l got a bit frustrated with the movement since you are often blocked but it's unclear why. This together with the (appropriately) slow movement stopped my progress pretty soon.
for 9 people working on one project, I expected better gameplay but I presume u should only look for body parts. I couldn't find the last one so I don't know what was gonna happen.
but for the art and animation, I loved it.
The game was interesting. I liked the art style. The Dialog System was well polished. I would put in a feature that lets the text be revealed immediately. I do think that some more feedback would be helpful. I kept trying to walk between graves and did not understand why I could not. Then when clicking on the zombies to attack it took a bit to realize I was actually getting brains. Keep it up, it is a great start to a game.
Thanks, all good points!
It was fun moving around exploring the environment and looking at objects. The dialogues are interesting too! Well done!
Well done team! Put together a good game :).
The text boxes are a little long for me, feels it slows down the nature of the game. Perhaps the ones with nothing in could be small notes that come up rather then full text boxes.
Well done!
Hi, I noticed your submission is missing a source folder. Your source is everything someone needs to download your game, open it in the game engine, and hit Play to play the game. In your case, your source is missing the Packages folder. Here is an example of what your source should look like: https://github.com/icepol/DeathIsOnlyTheBeginning
Hi, thanks for noting that, totally missed the Package folder. We just added it to the repo.
Yup, it looks good now :)
