Very clever idea. Maybe a bit too clever for me :) I struggled with getting used to how much I need to keep track of. But I can see others mastering it.
Thanks for playing. Yes, “many decisions” is part of the idea.
This is an inventive game. I think you pulled off these mechanics flawlessly. I think this is the best, so far, of these split screen games because it is so unique. However, I am finding they are not my type of game. I love to focus on one action where my character is at. But, with these type of games, I have to divide my attention and stay unfocused trying to see what happening in too many places on the screen at once. Feels like too much work for me. I still think you executed your Idea fantastically, Great Job.
Thanks! I found quite some great games in this jam, some with potential to become a full product. If you had at least a little bit of fun, I made everything right!
Rated your game it was fun!!!
this was fun. took me a few goes to get the hang of it. I thought the mechanics worked very nicely with the theme of the jam. Music and Sound felt and sounded really good as well. I enjoyed it - great job.
Thank you!
What an interesting, and very original mechanics and competitiveness that comes with keeping high scores is a nice addition, not often seen in a jam game. Great work!
Thank you! Glad if you had fun :)
Addictive as "hell" :P Awesome idea
thank you very much! :-)
Nice
Damn its harder than it seems :D
Sometimes :-) Glad if you had fun!
Oh, this is fun. I really like the concept. Fits the theme really well too.
Thank you for playing! If you had fun, I did everything right!
I love the concept here. It took me a second to get used to the controls but it's such a unique and engaging design that I could see this expanding further if you wanted. The only thing that I would suggest is that you move via keyboard and lock the player to jump between either the top, middle, or bottom row, other than that it's an amazing game.
Thanks for the feedback - but that’s exactly what i wanted to avoid (and why I also did not make any visual “hint” for the lane you are on) – The glowing angel/demon is the one that will “hit” the door and you shall always have to fear “…will it touch the middle door? a bit more up? more down? arrrrrgh nooo not the +30% for the demons!” :) that’s part of the game!
In that case you did a really good job because that was more or less my same reaction lol
The idea of the game is great and I played a few rounds.
It was really fun and once you understood everything I found it relatively easy to win, so it could have been a bit more difficult.
That didn't detract from the fun though, I really sunk into the game.
Really a good and fun game :)
Makes me happy, if you had fun! While playing your game, the same happened to me - yours has an outstanding presentation!
This is quite fun - I found myself playing for the demon team by mistake though so I lost. I really like the interpretation of the theme.
Thanks – your game also has a nice interpretation of the theme!
first of all I like the game page design and secondly, this is an amazing game, well done. would you try out mine and rate it according
Oh thank you! First time the effort for the itch page gets mentioned. Very much appreciated! Of course, I rated back your game!
A big congrats on that one and thanks D.
I was immediately hooked on the game, as it forces quick decisions and is therefore perfect for people who like the competition. Well done!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Awesome game! This is really addicting. I was really enjoying figuring out how everything worked and puzzling the best routes to take. Great job!
Thanks! Of course, there’s random involved, sometimes it’s (almost) too easy to win and sometimes you run with a handful of angels against 80 demons. That’s life :)
Really tricky and fun game!
Thanks for playing!
Nice game. :) Very highly addictive. Adding to my collection :P
Thank you! Glad to hear :-) I will update it with more door-types and a bit more fancy visuals (when i am no longer bound to cc0)
I loved this and managed to get my name in the top 10 haha, great job!
yeah! good job! that reminds me… need to look whether i am still holding the highest score!
This game is so good. I'm addicted to play more and more. Great game. Well done
This is GREAT! And stupidly addictive, good job. One suggestion I would make, is make it more intuitive which part of the track each army is going to hit with the current trajectory. Sometimes it's not super clear.
Thank you very much! Yes I thought about making the lanes visible, but decided against it to force the player into a “will it hit the middle door? A bit more up? A bit more down? Argh damn! Too much!”
In my mind it increases the challenge, the game was too easy with the lanes super clear visible
