This was really fun, and felt nearly like a production-ready game. I truly enjoyed setting up the course and watching physics go to work, and it was satisfying to hit the pin. I played through five or so levels, so this may already exist, but it would be cool if you were given access to other (more complex) shapes down the road. Also, I was surprised to see that I could still move pieces around even after the ball was rolling--it seems like it would be cool to freeze the pieces in place so you can't adjust the ball's path while it's moving. But overall, a super impressive game!

thank you for the kind feedback. Yes I would love to add more shapes and mechanics. I actually have code ready for a spinning wheel type addition (damn! Should have added that!!) And I would love to incorporate a 'fan' type mechanic pretty much exactly like the current/wind feature you use in your game (feel free to share the code of you'd like :D). Thank you for playing and rating!
ah thanks. I have actually never looked at area effectors before but I did figure out how to code it >.< I will check out effectors - its probably much easier! And a ball bounce would actually probably be ridiculously easy with a very bouncy physics material - thanks for that. I wasnt sure about working on this game after this jam, but now I feel like I have to!
In my opinion, this game is so well done and polish. It's so impressive that you came out of this interesting concept, the music and sfx just hit the point right at the time. The most important thing is the mechanic is straightforward and smooth. Good job!
I think the game is fun, but lacks polish. which is understandable for a game jam entry. The music sfx and art were nice and went well together. I did come across a few bugs. The restart button doesn't work. The white triangle in level 2 also doesn't. I think it would be better if after you create the course you can't move the objects anymore.
The restart button works just fine in terms of being a simple scene reload, however I recommend playing in full screen because if you dont that entire part of the game can sometimes be blocked by the extremely long title of the game jam. That's the only instance I've found of it not working - if you can tell me of another way I'd be keen to hear. The white triangle is actually not intended to work so the bug is that it actually is rotatable one time on the first level! Thanks for playing!
This is fun! Reminiscent of the incredible machine which is an amazing game. Well done!
I did it! A refreshingly different take on the theme with a unique genre. There aren't many sounds but what's there fits perfectly, the music is nice and relaxing, it's not overstated and also isn't too subtle. The graphics are simple and convey exactly what they're intended to. Building the level is fun and seeing the results afterward is fun too, usually!
The grid background does help to reset objects in the right places, but I did find myself wishing that the reset button simply put a new ball in the holder rather than removing everything. If the game went on for more levels and added extra complexity it would compound the issue. If it was done to maintain challenge, I'd suggest having a tracker for number of tries on each course.
This was really fun! The puzzles were just the right amount of challenging. One suggestion I have is maybe give the option to keep the shapes where they are when you reset the ball. It was a little tedious to put them back each time I restarted the level when all I needed to do was tweak the positioning, and I don't think it would take away from the challenge. I would love to see more levels, obstacles, and new mechanics! Great work!
Fun game, it reminded me of The Incredible Machine. :D
Nicely done!
This was fun I wouldve kept playing if there were more than 1 level, I figured out a way to really cheese it on the last level lol
Thank you for playing! There are 5 levels at the moment but I would like to make more. The cheese tactic is a legit mechanic if you can get it to work for you xD I've actually played your game but not rated it yet because I wanted to give it more practise (I'm really bad at it!). Will head on over there now!
I’d play more levels of that I love games that let you manipulate the environment. A little tip for my game is just try go full speed and just tap left/right to balance, theyre momentum based controls so just double tapping in a direction is enough usually to complete a flip. It’s a bit like balancing in a Tony Hawk game.
I had a lot of fun playing with this, is it intentional that I can interfere with the bowling ball once I release it? either way I had fun feeling like I was cheating the system :D
fun! i love those physics puzzles. only thing that reduces the fun is, that the reset button also removes all things i have placed in the level. would be much better to reset only the ball. it gets a bit awkward after the third try building the same level again and again and always miss by some pixels…
Very fun! I like a good physics game!! The music made it a very relaxing game to play.

Cool and enjoyable puzzle game! I really liked the style and music, the mechanics are also cool. The only thing you can cheat here and just throw the ball on the blocks and move it, but I went through everything honestly, I promise :). Anyway, thanks for this game.
