It's fun up to the point were my cursor gets stuck and I can no longer shoot where I want to. Will you be fixing this bug?

Developer (1 edit)

It鈥檚 not a bug! If you take damage and lose your hull/canon you cannot aim any longer. You must enter 3D mode (press and hold E), and find the parts to repair the tank!

Ah, ok, I should have read the instructions 馃榿

I really enjoyed the 2D tank portion of the game. It game me some nostalgia of like early NES games or Atari 2600 and Commodore 64 games I grew up on. I had issues once I got into the First Person view. The keyboard stopped working and I had use the controller. I could not get back in the tank. You did a great job on the game.

I really liked your explosion VFx and the fact that the tank tires left tracks on the map those are really nice details. unfortunately i was not able to enter the FPS mode for some reason?

Thanks so much for the feedback! Some people have mentioned they didn鈥檛 realize you have to hold E, rather than just press it, could that be it?

Really fun game! Is the only one in this jam i have tried that has this mechanic 2D to 3D and vice versa, and this makes it very unique! I did really like it! Also it perfectly fits the theme.
Good job!

Really nice concept! Good implementation of the theme, too. Just encountered a bug that the crosshair was stuck, but I don't know what caused that.. Cool game anyways :)

When you lose your hull, you can't rotate the reticle anymore! Gotta repair your tank in 3D mode!

Ohh okay, didn't really notice that- thought I didn't get hit :')

Very interesting game you have there. I like the approach you did where you fight classic in 2d and when your tank take damage you go into 3d to pick it up.  To add interesting how you got it where the tanks and turrets where in place when you go into 3d mode. Very interesting.  I like the graphics you used for the game.  Few things is maybe for the instruction have it where you have to hold e to get in and out of tank. I kept pressing E and didn't work so bit confusing.  Also might want to mention to click with mouse to get part as when it says click not sure it was referring to.  Also this happen twice but had it where when i got destroy and i restarted the game, the turret on the tank got stuck and would only point in one direction. Had it happen a couple of time but then it stopped.  I also encounter a z collision as well. Other then that, great game you have here :)

I really liked the interpretation of the theme - was actually a really cool moment when I pressed E for the first time and it went 3D haha.

The gameplay was pretty fun but I thought the dash mechanic could have been more fun to use - I'm sure there's a cooldown on it but when playing it kind of felt like it just randomly worked when it felt like it - often I would press space thinking I would dash, but then didn't. Maybe some UI element could tell you when it's ready or not? Also, for me the cooldown on the dash felt a little long for the dash to be that useful, but maybe that's personal preference!

I also thought it would have been fun if there was some kind of danger when you're in FPS mode - maybe there could even be different hazards depending on the mode you're in, like stuff that harms the driver but not the tank, etc. I think there's some interesting potential there!

There were a few polish things I noticed - when I played the tutorial for the first time, I killed the boss before the tutorial character had finished speaking, so I didn't get the full tutorial and was a bit confused when I played the main game. Also, I think the first time I played I couldn't find the parts I needed to repair the tank xD not sure if that was a bug or the graphics for the parts are not clear enough?

Good use of the theme and very cool idea! It took me a while to figure out that I had to hold E for little bit not just press it. Cool game though, good job!

That was fun! You should have more votes!
I like the swap betwenn the 2 points of view!
I just encoutered some bugs - in the battle against the boss I think I was to close to the border - my main gun fell of and cliped through the floor - at least it vanished...you should tell players that you need to hold e for like a sec. otherwise it wouldn't work for me to get in and out of the tank

Pretty fun! And the mechanic of changing perspective is done super well. Sometimes when I press e it doesn't work and sometimes there are some glitches, but overall a good product!
