really loved this game, the aesthetics and atmosphere were great and the game was very polished! i had a playtime of about 7 minutes. i was very confused by the card puzzle, is there any hint to it? i kept thinking that the number of elements on the card = the cards number, so i tried arranging them as such but no dice. still really enjoyed the game!

Thanks for the feedback. I have to admit, the solution of the card puzzle is really subtle. Try looking at the shelves on theleft and right. There should be hidden arrows that point to the code  :)

I love this game. The art style and execution is such high quality. Character designs, texturing, animations - absolutely well done! Love it being a little puzzle game and it's very clever to do this type of "controller". Love the little details like looking around a bit in the scene when hovering the cursor close to the screen edges, or the hidden puzzle hints and environmental storytelling. I'd rate it way up in fun and mechanics than it ended up with the ratings. But at least the aesthetics rating is absolutely correct! Great submission, would love a bigger commercialized game like this!

Thanks a lot for the positive feedback! It makes me really happy to hear, that you noticed all the small details :) I thought about making it into a real game, but I think I rather work on some ohter projects. I'll definetly plan to join a few more jams, upload some more on itch and maybe even make a real game someday!

You totally have the skill set and eye for making a high quality game. I wish you many more successful and primarily fun game jams and some day to find the resources and muse to decide for a commercial title to work on! Best of luck~

Banger game, not gonna lie, pretty much has everything you'd want from a puzzle game!

4 minutes 29 seconds. Was a bit confused as to what to do at first. Was there anything to get or any point to the card vendor out of interest? I enjoyed that there were different games within the game, and obviously visually its really good - far above average. Great spooky ambiance, which I appreciate a lot as I'm trying to hit the same thing in my own creations. Overall, great little experience.

I did it!  All puzzles, even the cards one (that was difficult!  The "clue" is very well hiden...)  Laughted a lot seing the spider with the key!  Good ambientation, good music, good sound, and very, very fun to play!!  Congratulations!!  It is a fantastic game!!!

beautiful adventure/puzzle game, reminiscent of the Mystlike games of the 90's.  i'm glad to see that someone else decided to make a puzzle game - yours and mine even have a maze puzzle!  good luck!

Beautiful look, really engaging, mini-games were mostly fun and the whole experience kept me wanting to poke around and discover everything there was to see. Super impressive game, even more so from a solo dev in 7 days.

Some feedback: I guess I was confused by the cards, like many of the other commenters. I was also confused by the poison barrel, couldn't tell if anything was happening when I clicked there. There was also an arrow behind the doll game guy, just to the left of the hole in the wall, which seemed to suggest I could go back behind the stands but was never able to. Finally, one little bug: it looks like you can play the card game even when not at that stand, which may or may not be what you intended.

Thank your very much for the kind words and even more for the detailed feedback. I'll definetly keep that in mind for my next projects, maybe i'll fix everything sometime after the jam is over. The arrows actually point to the solution for the card puzzle, even the one behind the doll guy - but the whole card puzzle is kind of a mess to be honest haha. Really appreachiate those kinds of comments :)

For sure! Also after reading more comments from others I realized I didn't need to beat the card game and was able to get myself healed pretty quickly. (Finally found a receptacle for that barrel ;)) It's just that having three slots for items kind of suggests you need to fill all three before you can win.

I've always been a fan of point and click puzzle games, and this did not disappoint.  The card puzzle was tricky and the mini-game of avoiding the hands was a nice addition. The art assets are brilliant, especially given the short timeframe.

I love these types of puzzle games. The atmosphere and surreal artstyle was spot on. It took me 5:11 to finish, but I didn't figure out the puzzle involving the cards, was that optional? This was an awesome submission!

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback. Yes, the card game was optional. It would have just given you the ingredients list / recipe, but I may have hade the solution a bit to sublte. Impressive time by the way :)

Awesome game, great job, well done. :)

Climax of this game os something else! really well done. Punching minigame is a bit unfair though

Very nice game! It took me 4:08 to be cured.
The art style is wonderful. It reminded me a bit of Tim Burton. I found the atmosphere to be very well done. I was a bit confised by the arrows first.
I really enjoyed this game and it is one of my favorites so far! Thank you for submitting :)

Got it in 3:29! The art style, atmosphere, and the character models were gorgeous! I assumed that they must have been existing assets but it's really impressive they were all made by you. One change I would make is giving some feedback when e.g. clicking the poison barrel, because I was not sure if it was not meant to do anything at first or if the game was just not working in the browser. The arrows also confused me a bit, because I first assumed they were also some action like the eye symbol. Overall great entry with a suitable length for a jam game :)

Very cool. The hints for the cards were well hidden/indicators well placed. It took me 6:15 to finish. I enjoyed this. Do make more. Thanks for submitting!

This game is incredible, I really liked it a lot. Reminds me of Myst. I played it on my youtube channel and gave my feedback if you want to check it out you can here

Video-playthroughs are the best type of feedback, so thanks a lot. Even though the card puzzle is optional, the solution still seems a bit too subtle. I will make it more obvious after the jam is over - I originally planned it to be one of the easier puzzles, because it just gives you the recipe / ingreidients list, but that clearly didnt work out... anyways thank you again for the kind words :)
