I loved the game, and the art looks very nice!

Thanks for playing!

The way you could switch between the characters was cool for me. I got into a bug/situation where one enemy trapped me on each side. They couldn't hurt me and I couldn't hurt me. But they kind of shielded me so that was nice.

Developer

Yeah the enemy behavior needs work, the colliders and hitboxes are a mess and you can easily get into these weird situations where someone is standing on somebody else's head and won't get off, or boxes a player in. Anyway, glad you liked the basic mechanic, and thanks for playing!

Good job finishing your game.

I liked the art design and the controls felt good. For some reason on my fist playthrough, everyone kept jumping on my head and stayed there. Haha.

Developer

Thanks for playing! And yeah, I nearly didn't finish, so I appreciate that. There are for sure some physics collider issues that need to be worked out, among other things. And I ended up putting a lot of focus on art and game feel, so I'm glad that came through for you.

Nice idea. I love some craftpix assets. Got invincible in this position and felt I could stay there killing folks forever. Nice artwork.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing, yeah there are some bugs and it's really more of a mechanic than a full game right now. But I'm glad you liked the choice of assets!

Kinda seems like you've been spamming a whole lotta games with this same exact comment. Last minute attempt to drive more traffic to your game?

Liked the strategy behind switching between the characters and the different attacks that they do as well as the fun gameplay of killing the enemies and surviving. Overall nice job on the game!

Developer

Glad you had fun! Thanks for playing!

Nice work, enjoyed playing.  Was a little easy after selecting the robot that could 1 shot kill everyone.  No real need to swap.  The guy took 2 shots to kill ppl?  Who'd pick him?  Im assuming the platforms, ladders, etc were for more variety, that would have made me switch to him if enemies used them.  First time I played I didnt read the instructions, I ended up loosing the 2 robots and with the guy just standing on an enemies head and nobody could get me.  Was funny to watch.  A few minor bugs like a player attacked would stay whited out, the guy stuck in run animation, enemies floating while dead.  Nothing that bad there.

Developer

Thanks for playing, and I appreciate the detailed feedback. I agree with all you've said, and there for sure some animation and physics bugs. I plan to keep working on it after voting ends and hopefully turn it into a game that actually justifies the mechanic.

This is so neat. I love the pixel art and the quality of sound fx. It feels nice and juicy to shoot and take down the enemies. I would like to see a bit of enemy variety, and I bet you can do some cool mechanics with the different playable characters. Great work!

Developer

Thanks for playing, and glad you enjoyed it! Yeah it's sort of just a mechanic at the moment, but I'd like to keep working on it after the jam so there will ultimately be more enemy types and a greater distinction between each of the playable character's strengths and weaknesses. Cheers!
