Save the turtles! Love the visuals, amazing art with fitting sand particles. Tried to dodge the beachtowels until I realized they are fine :D And a great music choice deserves props as well, honestly the uptempo music with the look of your game kept me going after getting frustratingly grabbed when the enemy-type switched and caught me off guard. As others have mentioned, them slightly moving towards you adds a lot of game feel.

Sadly I didn't manage to save your turtle, as most have failed to save mine. You get good at the games you create I've realized! Thanks for a fun jam

Pretty nice use of the graphics, and simple, fun gameplay where the mechanics are clean and working well. Great work on the game!

Nice work! Love the concept! And I like that you can walk TOWARDS the threats from the side to make it harder for them to turn, I think you nailed it with how the seagulls and crabs veer slightly towards you.

That said, I think some shadow indicator off the side of the screen to show where the next crab or seagull is coming from would be nice. It's a little rough to dodge a crab towards the top of the screen only to have a seagull suddenly spawn right there and grab you. Maybe that's on me for dodging upwards, haha.

In any case, well done!!

Nice runner.
I would have loved power ups or maybe competing with your siblings?
And, yes, I tried to eat the ice-cream the first time I played lol :)

Very charming! The art style, setting, and story really made me want to reach the sea and save my poor little turtle.

Good game! It’s a bit sad each time turtle dies, but I think you did a good job in raising awareness how unlikely it is for turtles to survive!

Nice game. Gave me some ideas. I tried to eat the icecream. The crab remebered the Yeti from SkiFree old game. Always ate me at the end.

Cute and fun but it devastated me every time I lost. I managed to make it to the point when both the crabs and seagulls spawn and then gave up after dying to that. Can one reach the ocean? I just want the baby to live T_T

I think I didn't take into account that I practiced so much during play-testing when balancing the game lol You can indeed get to the ocean! The simultaneous crab and seagull wave is the final one. The whole game takes about 2.5mins to beat :)

Great job on the art. The itch page with the ocean animating is a great touch. I like the particles on the turtle as it "runs". These crabs are faaaaaast and I like that they came from the side lol.
