I hope you guys keep working on it! I loved the music and graphics, and I thought the trick-or-treat minigame with falling candy and vegetables/fruit was a great idea!

One piece of feedback I'd give is maybe have the items fall a bit quicker? The minigame is fairly easy with how slow the items fall across the screen, and once the final item has fallen down there's nothing to do except wait for the few seconds to go back to the first-person view. If there were more items that were coming at you faster, it could be quite challenging!

Very cool visual style.

Ok, you might not have a finished game, but what you have here is really well made. Really cool concept, I would love to see this finished!

Thanks for playing!  Sometimes life gets in the way of fun stuff.  We may want to revisit it, just to get our finished game out there.

Hope you are going to keep working on it, Halloween is near! Well done!

Developer

Thanks for playing!  We discussed completing the pieces we were missing after the jam is done.  Just to get the full experience for players.

Love the use of 1st person in a 2d setting, very neat! I like that there are a lot of different mini-games. If this was a bit faster paced, it would feel like a Wario-ware title! Good work

Thanks for playing!  The SFX designer mentioned Wario-ware when we were originally discussing the idea.

sorry it couldn't be finished. Still cool art and concept though!

Developer

Thanks. We got close to finishing. We're just missing an ending and a bit of polish.

The art is great, and I like the 3d visual style. I was however a bit confused about what the items next to the map are supposed to be. I think an intro to explain the objective of the game would have been useful, but I understand under jam conditions theres often not enough time, still I think at least a block of text would be helpful.

Developer

Thanks for playing!  We wanted to implement the ability to egg or TP a house, but ran out of time so those buttons/actions don't actually do anything.  At the end we kept the TP aesthetic by wrapping the monsters you defeat.

I like it! It's a cozy little game! I specially like the art (the sprites and the color palette) and the music :)

Thanks for playing!

Nice game, with great artwork. I couldn't figure out how to trick (would like to play again with that knowledge if possible ). Only critique I would make is that I found the map hard to navigate at first as it doesn't indicate which way you're facing. But overall the game movement and mechanics felt intuitive to play :)

Developer

Thanks for playing!  We didn't get a chance to implement that. It was going to be that some houses gave candy and some wouldn't be giving out candy so you could TP or Egg them.  We also wanted to have an inspect feature.

Ah makes sense, cool idea :)
