How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
We went for a cutesy and light hearted take on spooky, i.e. if kirby was more unsettling and had more of a halloween tinge.

good platformer, but it's main issue is that it is hard to tell what is solid or not, some parts seems like it is just the background but it turns out to be solid, which makes the level kind of confusing to navigate
Fun platformer with a couple unique movement mechanics! I love that it's fast-paced and responsive. I died trying to use my attack on one of the ghost guys, which is confusing since the attack works on everyone else. Really captures the Game Boy feel!
this was fun, a bit hard to understand the level at first and how the player can interact with it, but Awesome Job!
This is fairly good, it's a bit hard to tell what you can walk on and the game is very difficult but it is a high score game so that's not that big of a deal. the art and audio are nice, definitely has that gameboy soul to it and spooky isn't anything crazy but it works fine for the game.
Overall pretty solid
Honestly, if I had to give just one piece of feedback about the game, I would rethink the platform design, as many of them don’t look solid but are, which makes it a bit difficult to interpret what is ground and what isn’t.
Other than that, I could easily see this game on a GB (maybe not with that dash effect, I don’t know if the Game Boy could handle that haha). Congratulations.
I think Jack had a bit too much candy, cause he seems to have quite the sugar rush going on. LOL. This was fun to play. You had a lot going on in a single level, though. I would have liked it if you had split it into smaller levels and gradually added on the complexity. Better skilled players will probably enjoy the rush right off the bat.
Really nice job on this, especially the sound effects. I was jumping on the orange thing just for the sound, LOL. Great job!
Very fun! I enjoyed the level design. The movement mechanic is great, even if I found it a bit convoluted. I also liked the different scenarios and enemies. Took me quite a few tries due to their placement and the ghost's i-frames, which felt really tight. For a jam game, it is pretty packed!
I had fun playing this one, and it took me 3 or 4 attempts to actually make it to the end.
I think it would've been nice to earn some sort of score bonus or multiplier for finishing quickly. And also just a bit more tuning of the air dash controls, once I figured out i could dash immediately after jumping and get the lift I was really grooving, but I think 8-way directional air dash would've been more intuitive.
Super cute and fun game, once I got the hang of jumping and dashing at the same time to get extra height I was flying through the level!
