New levels, enemies and environments coming soon. :)

This is a solid game! I had a lot of fun.

I like how turning on the lights enables a pathfinding maneuver instead of drawing them straight into you. It made it both harder, easier, and more interesting to avoid them. It was especially helpful when I ran into "out of range" multiple times.

It's a bit odd for this game to have the ambitious premise of "based on the true story of the Oceangate Titan disaster" when the only meaningful similarities are that there's *a* submarine and *a* sunken ship, and neither of them resemble the thing they're referencing. It reminds me of those animated Titanic movies with the talking animals (yes, those exist, and there are multiple of them!). I'm not sure if it's tasteless, per se, but it does feel irrelevant.

Congrats on your first game jam!

Yes That's true and I agree, We (me & my wife) were discussing about the catastrophe event and we wanted to make something out of it and that's how this whole idea emerged. Actually for the next steps, we are going to rebuild (and most probably in a more kid-friendly way) this into a more polished and mobile oriented way.  Thank you very much for playing and giving your valuable feedback. It means a lot to us.

Fantastic game. Wish it was a bit longer.

Developer

It is. There are few updates that has longer levels for exploration and new items to find from the sea bed. I will upload them once the jam is over

Submitted

I'll keep an eye on it.

Great game! The graphics work well and the lighting looks great!

Developer

Thank you

Wow! Great game! All id change is  where the treasure is (like to te right, cause thats where the player is facing and thats the intuition for a player playing most games) or a better way to know

But besides that I really loved it!

Developer(+1)

That I noticed after releasing to the jam. I am planning to add a sonar and show players a small prate map before the level in later stages of the game. Thanks for playing :)

Great idea, can't wait

The atmosphere of the game is really well done, I really like how some of the sound effects are used to present this isolated and dark environment, however the sound for the light switching was a little distracting. But while the presentation of the game is decent, the gameplay and level design could be improved upon. Some enemies showed up right in front of the submarine giving me little to no time to react to them; the invisible walls were not as intuitive, and even though there is text indicating when you reach one of them, there were times were I was stopped by an invisible wall and the text did not show up. The idea for the game is really interesting and I would like to see a more polished version of it in the future.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for checking out and reviewing my game. What you have mentioned is correct. I was addressing those issues and there is an updated version with much more polished game mechanics (of course with better sounds) . Hope to share it with you once the jam is over.

perfect !!!!! make it a series please please!

of course. I am already preparing it

It is a solid game, with a lot of potential. The octopuses are very annoying ( maybe they should move a little slower because the moment you turn the light on they just run towards you forcing you to turn it off immediately ) and the obstacles are a bit closer than they should be in my opinion, especially since you can't see all the time. That being said, with some tweaks, it could become a great exploration game. Great job!

Developer

I agree with you. his version is quite hard to play. I did few tweaks to the game but couldn't upload till the jam ends. Specially with the octopuses, I reduced their trigger distance as well as now they'll move away once the light is off. And added "boid movement" which I discovered very recently. also I increased the visibility of map and reduced the camera zoom to show more area. I'll upload the updated version as soon as the jam is over. :)

Submitted

I will come back to play the updated version after the jam.

Submitted

Couldn't reach the end because of the octopuses, but very very fun to play !

Great game!

A bit difficult and I felt the connection to the theme was a tad weak. Very topical (albeit a tad distasteful considering people died). I think if you genericize the game, a cute little submarine game would be fun!

Developer

I was thinking about that at first, and I agree, cute little sub-game would fit well. But in the other hand, there are lot of war games & simulations based on actual scenarios/ catastrophes. I never meant to disrespect the passengers by any means & I'm really sorry if you felt uncomfortable with that.

Submitted

Most aspects of the game complements its other. It's a great game that has potential.

Overall great game keep up the good work.

Thank you

A game that fits the graphics, sound and theme. It was so wonderful.

I love the art, and the mechanics are simple and easy to jump straight into

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much. I just went through your game as well. It is awesome :)

⚠️ Important note:

Thanks for checking out. If you're playing "the Titan Adventure", it is an on & off game.

So you have to turn on the light to see obstacles & enemies. But it attracts enemies towards you.

🔴 When an enemy is attacking you, you just have to switch off the lights and memorize & avoid near by obstacles and move away.

So it is a stealth game.

REMEMBER, switching on & off is the key. Explore the area and find the shipwreck hidden behind the sea grass. Tip: it's at the bottom left corner of the map.

Good game theme it's pretty fun it's a bit hard but a very good game
