Great audio and story. Music is simple, but it hits perfectly well. I like the walking sound effect and the talking audio as well. Good job.

very interesting story you chose to cover! Not often you see this in games, where things are simplified for quick and easy to digest messages. This struggle was sweet to experience, and the surrounding environment, the lighting and the weather changes show your levels of cinematography and story telling.
Great work! PS: loved the monkis!

Developer(+1)

Tysm! Yes I do love to use the environment to express stories. The snow is in fact symbolic of F-ball's denial, covering up his Ocarina and blinding him from the truth. Perhaps F-ball is the one who buried it there himself....
Also I love the monkis too.

love it!
Never considered him hiding it himself!

The story was so sad, but so beautiful. I had a bit of trouble finding the second note but apart from that no complaints at all this is literally incredible. Good job :)

Developer

Thank you very much :) Yeah if I could change anything I would remove the task for searching for that damn second note.

Heartbreaking story, but loved it nonetheless. Another excellent entry! I still really like your 2D characters in a 3D space style.

Developer

Thank you so much! Yeah I do have a thing for 2D characters in 3D worlds haha

I really like that you created a full story arc through the game, it felt like a complete end to end experience. Also some really neat visual effects in there like the snow shader. Nice entry!

Developer

Thank you very much :)

Your art style is just awesome, Midori.  The story and metaphor are on point.  Took me a bit to find the 2nd note.  I kept looking down in the snow that was disappearing beneath me.  Maybe a little context clue?  But that aside, it's a fantastic entry.  Very well done.

Developer

Tysm. Yeah I probably should have came up with a better way of the player getting the notes other than just having to search for it lol. Context clue? Hmm I do like to keep my games vague enough to allow players to come up with their own interpretations. Maybe I made it too vague this time haha

Loved playing a little ditty at the end with the backing track lol. F-Ball is cute, love their art direction also :)

Developer

Thank you very much :)
I love your game's art direction too, it's really cute.

Damn, it's great. The visuals, the characters, this mechanics that I love from Zelda OOT (and the sprite of the Ocarina ahah), I really enjoyed it. I also love the sound design you've put here. Very well done !

Developer(+1)

Ayy we got someone that noticed the OOT references haha
Thanks for playing :)

Fantastic game. Love the interaction with the characters and how the snow melts when searching for the ocarina. Playing the instrument was a lot of fun and works really well with the game

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I'm glad the ocarina mechanics worked out in the end, I had a couple of issues during development with it.

Really beautiful little game, I love the character designs. Glad to see I'm not the only one to make a game where you play notes :)

Developer

Thanks man. I really like your game, it's cool that we both have a similar mechanic yeah.
