Played on stream tonight and left my comments throughout if you want to watch the playback. It appeared so simple at first, but I love the slow reveal and careful placement of elements. Really well done.

Wow, love the harsh total contrast. It’s amazing how much we can get a sense of the space with so little details, and shapes of objects (though also makes it easy to get lost and fall off if you’re like me and intentionally wander). The reveal of the last moment after getting the flower was just such perfect composition, what a good touch. Definitely want to see more of this :+1: reminds me of video game that was about painting and coloring the world, where you started out all white and unshaded like this. I don’t remember the name at all but if you come across it, I’m sure you could build more on the ideas it was playing with. This is very ripe for some good storytelling.

Edit: I should have read other comments first, indeed I was thinking of Unfinished Swan :)

Excellent idea of having foreground and background elements be the same white color, reminds me of The Unfinished Swan. The level design is also excellent with the intentional slow revealing of new content.

So poignant. A beautiful art piece with such depth for such a simple layout

I love this art style, I think you've done great for your first 3d game! Now I'm really curious to see how the rest of the story unfolds.

A really interesting start.

Beautiful path to walk along, even though it's only black and white I feel like you've added so much depth and detail to the scene. Loved it!

Love the style of the game and the use of white is really good, especially felt good going over the hill and exploring the path

Soooo elegant. Chef's kiss!

It's a very creative story.

love the simplicity but would like a bit of sound. but overall, noice

Very unique, adding sounds or music would have helped me get into it a bit more but I love it anyway. I like the fact that we cant see the tree, only their silouhette, it's was really poetic. Well done !

I really like the simplicity and style of this. Even more so, I like that it all tells a story.

I love the art style! It kind of reminds me of the first few levels of the unfinished swan with white and black objects revealing each other. the game could use sound effects and I did feel the movement was a tad slow

Cool concept.  The story really leaves me wanting more.  Kind of reminds me of Beyond Eyes (without the terribly slow movement issues).  Nice work!
