Simple and well executed mechanic, it was easy to understand and very fun to use throughout each of your levels! I did encounter a bug at the end of level 3, something with the dialogue glitched out and it didn't let me complete the level unfortunately, would have liked to progress past that and see the final two levels. Regardless though, I really enjoyed the game and your level design! Especially liked seeing a speedrun mode as this game does seem very speedrun-worthy

Hey Keltfire! Sorry for the late response, but I really appreciate the feedback! I'd never seen the bug you mentioned before until your comment, but I've gone through and hopefully found a fix. According to Xander we can update our games now, so I've done that! Now the rest of my game should be possible to complete! If you decide to play the rest, let me know if anything else doesn't work correctly.

I like how you added the speedrun mode for replayability, the only thing I don’t understand is why is there a timer to the spectacles, I get it that they are magical, but it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, I mean that mechanic is rarely used and you just need 3-4 jumps to reset the timer… but other than that the game is really cool

I really liked the running animation, and the storyline along the way was a nice way to tie it all together. I said this on stream, but having some indicators when the blocks are changing would be nice, both the timed ones and the ones that swap. It reminds me of the blocks in Mario that swap back and forth, nice entry!

The alternating platforms was fun. The control setup was troublesome for me to get used to, but I eventually got it.

Great job! I loved the leaderboards! the platforming could use some small tweeking. like coyote time and landing on edge. Overall great job! and whoever set those top times is crazy fast!!! also the art is amazing I absolutly loved the player character art

Nice entry.

You have a lot of systems here, menus, dialogue, leaderboards.. woah! A lot of work for 2 weeks, great job!

I do think the camera could have used a bit of tweaking, notably when you reach certain height levels there's an abrupt lerp that doesn't feel quite right.

Main character is a cutie! Good job on your entry!

Nice! I like the design of the character. Might've been cool to incorporate the hat into some of the animations.

This was such a cool idea!  The art style and story were really immersive.  I think the jump mechanics could've been polished a little, as some of the jumps seemed more difficult than they needed to be, but overall a really cool game!

Thanks so much for playing! I really appreciate the feedback as well! Jumping and platforming in general was something I wanted to refine, time just got the best of me and I couldn't quite get to it. I'll make sure to try your game out as well!
