First game I've seen so far to have all 5 stars! I found myself playing for way longer than I thought I would, trying to get the high score and all those achievements .  The art is so good, the level design is amazing, and I love how chaotic it gets!  Goober is so silly I love them

I love rhythm games so I really enjoyed this entry! Pretty difficult, but I got the hang of it eventually

That's strange, I'll try my best to fix that. Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks for the reply! I'm glad you liked the character design, since most of it was last minute!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I didn't have any time for level design so I just had to settle for the one level. I'm glad you thought it was fun though!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I realized after I submitted that there was basically no way to win if you ran out of crafting resources, but at that point it was already 4 am and I just couldn't work on it anymore lol

I forgot to mention that the tempo and offset don't export properly, and are set to 100 and 0 in the json file *

Great app! Lots of useful features too! If I could give one piece of feedback: there's no keybind to remotely play the audio without having to navigate to the controls tab. Excited for future updates though!!

Thanks so much for the suggestions! I always playtest my games on my laptop to see how they run, but unfortunately I tested it on controller so I completely missed this issue. I'll definitely keep this in mind for all of my future games!

Super fun! So fun in fact, that I didn't stop playing until I was at the top of the leaderboard!

So, so good! Great use of audio cues, great story, great everything! Way impressive for two weeks.

Really fun! It's super cool that you decided to continue the story you started with your game last round!

Thanks for the feedback! The tutorial was made around 4 am one day before the end of the jam, so I really just needed to rush through it, since I couldn't work on the game at all the day after.  It's definitely one of the weakest areas of the game, but I'm glad you managed to figure it out!

Thanks for the comment! I wasn't too sure how people would take the tutorial, but I'm glad you found it useful!  I definitely agree that it can be a little complicated at times, so I'll definitely take this into consideration if I ever decide to revisit this game.

Hey, thanks for the feedback!! I totally agree on the controls issue, it got way out of hand with all the keybinds, I just couldn't find a chance to make it a little more simple for the people who haven't been playing it for two weeks straight. I'm just glad I managed to make it work with a controller!

Thanks so much!

I kind of set most of my keybinds to the same key on accident and now I can't even start the game haha. Is there a way to reset the settings? I tried just reinstalling but it saved my settings...

Hey Keltfire! Sorry for the late response, but I really appreciate the feedback! I'd never seen the bug you mentioned before until your comment, but I've gone through and hopefully found a fix. According to Xander we can update our games now, so I've done that! Now the rest of my game should be possible to complete! If you decide to play the rest, let me know if anything else doesn't work correctly.

Very, very fun! Also challenging at the same time! Even though the game told me exactly how much time I had left, I still ended wanting more (In a good way of course!) This game takes a minute of gameplay and definitely makes the most of it!

Very fun lil game! Loved the art style and the old-timey look of things! I know you'll get this a lot, but it definitely gave me Cuphead vibes!

One of the most fun games I've played in a jam, ever! And you know you're doing something right when your worst player, who could barely complete the first level, is having fun! Very cute art style and silly idea as well!

Thanks so much for playing! I really appreciate the feedback as well! Jumping and platforming in general was something I wanted to refine, time just got the best of me and I couldn't quite get to it. I'll make sure to try your game out as well!

Thanks for the reply! I'm glad you enjoyed the game and found some humor from my description! I played your game and left a review. (I found your game very impressive!)

Great game! Very impressive for only 9 days! The art and graphics are amazing and the game itself fits the theme very well.

Hey there! I recently participated in this gamejam; however, I didn't have the time to add screenshots or videos to my itch.io page. Is it against the rules to update my game page since I'm technically working on the page and not the game itself?

Here's the page in question, if that matters at all :

Thanks in advance!

Hey there! Thanks for the comment!

The game does track your stats, and I originally had plans to display them on the level select screen after you completed a level. Unfortunately, this was one of the things I had to move to the cutting room floor because of the deadline. If I decide to update this game in the future, that's one of the things I will 100% add.

P.S. I'm so glad you enjoyed all of the easter eggs and apps!

Hey there! Thanks for the feedback! When the voting period is over, if I decide to update or add more content to the game I will definitely change how the receipt disappears. Thank you! (I also will check out your game when I get a chance :)  )

Thanks for the reply! While making this game, I made it with the idea of it being mobile compatible in mind; however, I didn't decide to actually test it until it was too close to the deadline to be able to fix. Once the voting period is over, if I decide to add more content to the game, this is one of the first things I'll add/fix for the game. Thanks so much for the feedback!

Very fun game with pretty good level design!

Very fun and addicting gameplay!

Very fun and creative!

Controls are a little slippery at times when holding Shift, but other than that its pretty fun! it fits the theme well and the visuals are really nice as well!

Really fun game! It fits the theme really well as well! The only problems I had with it were the weapon dropping feature being a little "janky" at times, and the fact  that the game would pause after every level. Pretty fun, nevertheless!

Thanks! :D

Hi all! I recently decided to start making a speedrun platformer game using the GDevelop engine. I'm relatively new to game development, so this is mostly a learning experience for me. It features an online leaderboard where the best times are uploaded for all to see, if you're logged in at least. (pictured below).

remember: this is a work in progress

If you'd like to give it a shot, here's the link! Please leave feedback, I want to improve as much as possible, so all suggestions and comments are appreciated. Thanks for reading!
