I'd love to see more from this! I love the aesthetic.  I think allowing the player to move in an orbit around the planet would be a bit more in-theme, but the controls were tight, even if before upgrades the ship feels quite sluggish.

Major skill issue game for me, can't even aim to save earth (usually its just a barn). Good graphical style across the board and a good sense of progression with the upgrades as long as you can actually hitting (unlike me).
